Room was clean, comfortable. Service was excellent, particularly from Nirmal who truly went above and beyond. Food was great, location in Nepal was perfect if you want to be close to the city action. Would stay there again.

Our first and last stop on our G Adventures holiday. Traditional feel but modern amenities. Our room was spacious and comfortable, our only gripe being two barking guard dogs next door at night, but earplugs helped that. The hotel isn't right in town but we walked to the Garden of Dreams in under 20 minutes. Food in the restaurant was tasty and varied, and our cappucinos each morning were just like home. I didn't catch the name of our barista, but he was good! We must mention Reman , the waiter who remembered our names and always gave us great service, and the sweet waitress named Megluna. All staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. Even the sticking button on our toilet was fixed in the time it took us to have breakfast. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Sleep Quality
Room Tip: Some rooms have the side of the bed against the wall, couples may find this annoying. They moved us.

This hotel was the final one on our G Adventures tour (and it was an upgrade from the one we were supposed to have) but it was THE BEST! To have a shower that doesn't spread water all over the bathroom floor was FANTASTIC in itself but, if you add the fact that the rooms were really nice, the staff were great and the food in the restaurant was excellent then you can understand our pleasure in spending the night. It is located a little bit outside of the tourist/shopping area but it is really only a 15 to 20 mins walk to those areas and for the peace and quiet that it offered, it's worth the minor inconvenience.

I absolutely loved my stay at Traditional Comfort. I stayed for the first 3 nights of my tour with G adventures, as well as our last night, and was welcomed with extreme hospitality, a welcome drink and a nepali welcome scarf. From that moment the service was impeccable. The rooms and building were beautifully built. The architecture is traditional nepalese and I found the bed very comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious and had so many courses (fruit, fresh juice, bread basket, eggs, potatoes etc!) and I found all the meals to be amazing. All of the employees were very kind, with specific mentions to Raman who took the time to remember our names, and creative cappuccinos made by Pujal. I would definitely stay here again!
