I was strayed at hotel Maya mnoe at Room no. 401 on 15 &16 of March 2022 , but hotel management is not responsible for their guests. It is clearly mentioned in all booking partners about free airport transportation to and fro hotel. But on 16th of march 2022 , I asked the hotel management about drop out facility to airport , they clearly and directly refused me for this. We got totally dissatisfied with staff behaviour specially reception staff. I advise to give some staff training to treat all guests with equal interest and concern regardless of their country, religion, ethnicity and appearance because early in the morning on 16 th of march 2022, staff at breakfast is also biased because they are serving some stuff of breakfast to some guests but refused to me. Very poor management . Management must take a note on it and guide the staff to treat very guest with equal importance.…
Very Poor food quality and hotel services. Ambiance of hotel is perfect but the behavior of the account section was so poor that even at night 11 PM they called us for cash for payment....... It's was our first and last stay in this hotel. Poor management by KGH Group.
Stayed here for 4 nights on a work trip and it’s an excellent boutique property. The helpfulness of the staff is incredible. The room was of a good size and well equipped. It was very clean and had modern amenities. The hotel is a 10 to 15 minute walk from Thamel and an easy taxi ride to everywhere. The restaurant has really good food and a variety of options. Great location and highly recommended!
We enjoyed a 2 night stay here recently. The building is magnificent and whoever did the interior design work did a spectacular job. It’s like a museum with many artifacts and related stories. We had a large room and we always do a quick clean on our own before setting in. We were surprised to find tables and ledges to be very dusty and the coffee tabletop and counters to be very in need of a scrub. Housekeeping needs to have more respect for the beautiful surroundings. We peaked in a smaller room and did not see these issues but glass shelves in the lobby area had gone undulated for many days. HIGHS -Gorgeous building and high taste level in furnishings -Bed was very comfortable but pillow were cheap foam type -Rainfall shower enclosed by curtain -Staff was very helpful -Wifi was good -Restaurant had many food choices and very tasty with good service however it looked like tablecloths had not been laundered recently or required replacement LOWS -Room areas, lobby shelves, restaurant table cloths were not nearly as clean as they should be -Kleenex and TP not replaced by housekeeping when they ran out -No luggage rack in our room -Towels old and dingy -Step into bathroom (not in most rooms) could be dangerous -No place to hang Dopp kit in bathroom If you chose to stay in the beautiful building you may want to check out your room before unpacking. …
Nice building with historical face value, gives you cool and calm environment, close to important places, nice entrance and welcoming, rooms are clean. Specially the breakfast is excellent will make you happy.
I found Maya Manor Boutique Hotel and relaxing place to come back to after the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Its proximity to Thamel and centrality was very convenient. I like that it has a history to the building and that the historyhas been well presented.
I booked this hotel via Expedia. An absolute bargain price for a superb hotel. Staff are wonderful. Nothing to much trouble. Furnishings of highest standard. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the breakfast was only warm not hot. I went for breakfast at 8 am, if they could keep food hot it would make such a difference. They cooked my eggs to order and they were superb.
The property is actually an old small palace converted into an hotel. Staff is super friendly. Food is ok ok. Rooms are good and well appointed. The best part of the hotel is its garden , beautifully decorated lobby.
I was staying at the hotel for 3 nights in room 507 and was really surprised by the quality of the hotel. Very well kept boutique hotel, excellent breakfast and dinner, super friendly reception and staff. In Kathmandu be sure to stay at the Maya Manor Hotel.
Location very good. Centre of the city. No problem to get taxi or hangout for music, food and shop. Cleanliness good. Nice surroundings. Facilities excellent. But we got less satisfied with staff behaviour. I advise to give some staff training to treat all guests with equal interest and concern regardless of their country, religion, ethnicity and appearance..
