The Hotel is decent for business travelers. A bit difficult to locate for the first time, however the staff is very courteous, helpful and always keep a smile on their face which is a delight to see now a days. The food is fine, their pakodas, one of the best i have had in this city. The area however is a bit dull for tourists.
Horrible place to be, no customer service, no warmth when interacting with customers, roaches in the two rooms we’ve booked, hotel rooms aren’t clean, food is horrible. Can’t wait to check out of this place
Had gone to Nepal on a family trip. First of all if you go to Nepal please go to Pokhara city. Anyway in Kathmandu we stayed at the Crown Plaza hotel. The hotel was gushing with guests. Packed hotel I guess. It’s always full I’m guessing. The staff is warm and helpful. Rooms are luxurious. It also has a Casino. It’s huge and fun. Overall a good experience. Food served at the hotel is good not great but good. Try it’s Indian restaurant.
This is a large American-style hotel in Kathmandu with several restaurants. It seems to be consistently busy. Unfortunately it is not well organized and can be a frustrating place to stay. That is all.
Let me say that the hotel and grounds are fabulous, but the hallways and doors are very noisy. You can hear everything going on in the hallways, and the doors shut hard and loudly. Had people came in around 9:30 making noise and talking between rooms from I believe India. For two days when I was just going to sleep the door slamming and talking would start. So rude not to consider others, but you need to be aware that this is possible if you stay here. The staff were wonderful as was all the restaurants and dining.nice comfortable beds. Don’t over look 5he hidden gift shop. Good prices and large variety of trinkets.
