Our agent had booked this place. Very central. On arrival, the reception manager Mr TP gave us two rooms on 3rd floor, overlooking a garbage dump ! We refused, he gave us rooms on 4th fl, same side. He claimed that front facing rooms were full. The 4th fl rooms were still overlooking the dump. We decided to walk out....

The place is centrally located, but looks old and is dark. Really, this should be a 2-3* hotel at most. Rooms are old. Cleanliness is fair. There are no safes in the room. Food quality and taste is also only fair. The rooms on the right side of the hotel tend to be noisy because there is a disco at...

Simply superb have never ever expirienced such high standard hospitality. The hotel is very centrally located. The rooms were simply great with all the amenities up to the mark. The mattress and the linen quality were top notch even better than 5 star standards. The most important part were the staffs. Although we were not able to reach thimpu on our booking date...

This hotel has a great location in the centre of town. It does mean you are not restricted when it comes to finding somewhere to go for dinner, but it can also be a little noisy. The rooms are all clean, any typical Bhutan standard. The building is old so if you are noise sensitive I would get a room...

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and have had no regrets. The accommodation, breakfast & dinner was part of the Bhutan visa deal and we did not pay any extras except for drinks and tips. The entire tour was organised by Etho Metho Tours & Treks and they also selected this hotel for us. Happy hours in the bar...

Good was good , staff was good but it definitely lacks view and standard facilities which ideally one would look for in a 4 star hotel. Wifi was available only in the lobby not in the rooms. It is in the heart of the city so there was no view as such.

It's a nice hotel with all amenities of a good 4-star hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. The architecture and interiors of the hotel are very beautiful representing traditional Bhutanese art. The amenities, fixtures, etc are however, new and modern. Our room was also pretty spacious for two people. Room service and staff are very friendly...

Traveling across Bhutan for treks & Paro festival, we stayed for a couple of nights organised by our local tour company. Accessible location, but then Thimpu's not huge - easy to explore by foot. A decent revamp and a warm-ish welcome, marred by dusty rooms, noisy folks in narrow side street & quite tasteless food in the restaurant. If you're...

the hotel is very central in the old part of Thimphu. hence: easy to reach, everybody knows it. cons: dogs, street noise on wednesdays, fridays and saturdays, no view. rooms are big, wifi is working (although hard reset may be required from time to time). as a business traveller .. the breakfast is not included in the rate.. and breakfast...

We had booked the hotel for 2 nights but checked out after one night due to extremely disappointing experience. We checked in and realized that they do not have double beds, only single twin beds in all rooms. The rooms which have double beds are extremely small. The room allocated to us was on top of the their kitchen. The...
