Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
It is so clean with soothing music playing at the background and food is delicious as well.Waiters and waitresses are friendly and they treat us nicely. The place is cozy with heater on, overall the place is good. Last i would recommend this place to every one as it cool place and the food are priced affordably.

Cosy with central heating, my corner room with two exposures had great views of the mountains as well as natural sunlight during the day. The amenities in the room are safe, hotpot for tea, nicely chilling frig and an amazing rain shower as one option to use in the shower in this perfectly functioning bathroom. There is a robe and slippers for comfort and lovely large bath towels. The staff were amazing in friendliness and prompt efficient service at the front desk and in the restaurant. Bringing my packages to my room, getting a taxi if needed and suggestions for shopping as well as explanation of events going on in the country.It is near the produce market for an interesting look at everyday life! The massage and steam room were amazing treat after a busy day followed by a meal with many tasty vegetarian dishes.

The hotel may seem nondescript from the outside and in a rather ordinary part of town but from the inside it is a new modern boutique hotel with a contemporary touch to traditional Bhutanese interiors. The rooms are well maintained and furnished with a small area carved out for a work desk for those seeking to do some work. The onsite restaurant is spacious and offers both a buffet and a la carte choices. Wifi in the room is very good as is the overall service.

Initially I booked this hotel for a week as I had a good experience before for longer night. In the end I decided to extend it to my entire business study.
Conveniently located, good service and friendly staff is exactly as you hope in Bhutan. A country where doing business mindfully is still appreciated and recognised for is long term benefits.
Whether you have official meetings downtown or visiting other businesses, it's central location and easy access to transportation makes it ideal. Market and shops just arrived the corner as well as the Lhakhang to share your blessings to the world.
I only had the breakfast, but it was made specifically to my taste for the local cuisine.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever been to. The service is beyond what anyone could expect. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, you really feel you are at home. Food was great adapted for our lower heat/spicy tolerance and the room was spacious and modern. We were welcomed with a nice tea and a warm towel and made us feel at home from the beginning. Me and my husband recommend this hotel for your visit to Bhutan!

I had a wonderful stay here with my group. All staff was extremly friendly and reliable. The rooms were very clean and new. Also , it was possible to order porridge and hot ginger and honey tea for breakfast.

I travelled to Bhutan in the month of November, though I didn't stay in Pelyangboutique, I went over to hotel for lunch. The restaurant is very cosy. there are nearby tourist attractions. The reservation Manager Ms. Bishnu Mahat is always available on WhatsApp to communicate easily. Very helpful and professionally spoken lady. The entire team is very helpful and always smiling. Their food is great. They have very good authentic bhutanese food and choices of other menu too. Will recommend this Hotel to everyone who wants to explore Thimphu. Highly recommend this hotel to all.

This hotel is neat and clean and the service is decent as well. However they do not have any generator/power back up and unfortunately there was a power outage one if the nights we were there and had to spend half the night without any power/air conditioning. It was a horrid experience. The other downside is that they don't serve breakfast after 9 am which is ridiculous. We are leisure travelers and hate to be hurried when we are on vacation. We were hoping to wake up late and have a late breakfast at around 9:45 and got a rude shock when we found out that we had to eat before 9am. Also all their breads/ parathas are made of maida instead of atta which I found terribly unhealthy.

Pelyang Boutique is my 1st hotel to stay in Bhutan. The room is very clean and provide good enough space. Its wooden furniture gives a bit “Japanese-style”. The room provides all amenities you needed. 2 things I really like are: lots of electricity plugs; and a large working desk for your works or makeup. It’s close to Buhtan Post office (5 min walk). The hotel services are very nice and warmly. Maybe the choice in their resturant is not much. But you can still go out to find other resturant around the hotel. Highly recommend you stay with them in Thimphu.

Pelyang Boutique hotel is plain terrific. It looks new. Everything is modern, good size room, clean and quiet. Good wi-fi. Excellent staff. Good breakfast. The only problem is the spa menu prices on their website. We went for deep tissue massage which is listed at Nu. 1500/1800 for 60/90 minutes respectively. In reality they ask for Nu. 2500/3000 plus 20% tax. No big deal but leaves an unpleasant feeling. The massage itself is pretty good.
