An okay place. Meals (mostly buffet) are not inspiring, mostly starchy to fill you up, rooms are adequate with good showers and sinks. But you have to figure if the room comes with earplugs gratis that noise might be a problem. It is with loud music emanating from somewhere nearby in town during evenings (not sir to what time) and...

Kisa Hotel is an unassuming and modest hotel whose location and friendly staff are its most redeeming qualities. The rooms can benefit from renovation and maintenance. Dining gives a home cooking type of quality.

I have stayed in this hotel with family for two nights in winter. It is a decent hotel in good location. I will list down the positives and negatives to help you in making a decision. Positives: 1. Close to shops/markets, you have few just beside your hotel. 2. Staff are well behaved. 3. Breakfast is good (includes egg, but...

The hotel has an attractive ambience, but feels crowded as the building and common areas are small. Rooms have good fittings but the maintenance is poor. The hotel suffers from the common problems of all hotels of bhutan: poor availability of maintenance staff - plumbing and electrical fittings could do with qualified attention: eg: the fittings on the sink and...

The price that I got per night was very good considering the space, the amenities, and location. However, I was disappointed to learn that breakfast was not included in the room rate, but the basement spa offered 50% off for all treatments I walked in to ask about the room rates and see the room, and the staff were very...

There is nothing wrong with the Kisa, but it doesn't lift the spirits, either. It's a bland town-centre hotel with a reasonably spacious foyer. The staff are agreeable. The food, inevitably in Bhutan if you're in a tour group, is a sort of simulacrum of western scroff. It will give you some idea of how Bhutanese food lowered my expectations...

We stayed here for one night. The room was odd in that there was no bedside lights. This made the room a bit dark. There was a problem with the lights in the lift and just a torch was left there for light. Shower was good and wifi was free. Food was buffet style, I have given up on the...

We recently visited Bhutan that is last week and stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. The experience is quite satisfactory. We were well received and our stay was comfortable. The hotel is centrally located and we can easily explore the market by foot. The view is good too. We were provided breakfast and dinner and both were...

This hotel is centrally situated, almost opposite the football stadium and close to where the National sport: Archery is oractised. This spectacle is not to be missed. Hotel room very clean and spacious. I expected a noisey night as ear pligs are supplied. However I had the best night in 11 nights away. There are efficient heaters in both bedroom...

Stayed at the Kisa Hotel on a recent trip to Bhutan with 10 other travellers from Australia. Centrally located and a comfortable stay. Attentive and friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were both included and good.
