Nice backpackers, ideal for families with young kids. Our son loved the rabbits and the swimming pool. Good location and close to main city centre. We would stay here again There was not much on offer for breakfast and the billing was a bit confusing.

I was subjected to public harassment, discriminatory, defamation of character, and unlawful "detention" by the owner of this backpackers Anita. Due to a misunderstanding about payment, she drove to the airport and proceeded to call me a thief and tell everyone within earshot in the check-in area that "it's always you Africans" who steal never pay for services. She would not listen to reason and even after the issue was sorted, did not apologize at all for this harassment. Her husband, David has since issued me an apology via email, but nothing at all from the self loathing, conceited, morally bankrupt co-owner, who doesn't deserve anyone's patronage.

Having stayed at many Branded hotels in Lusaka....this place is by far the best value for the money! Its a family run boutique hotel, where the owners and staff are super friendly and always around to answer questions or or help with any needs. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with little touches that make it seem as if your staying at a home rather than a hotel. Lush wide open spaces inside will make you feel like your in the country not the city.

Really enjoyed having my group stay here. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt very safe in the backpackers and the rooms were very clean. Showers and toilet facilities were very good indeed and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending people to stay here. The breakfast was good and the other meal selections were lovely. Hopefully the kitchen could be stocked with more utensils in future otherwise fantastic!

I would say that this place is very calm and quiet, for the person who wants a personalise service, i would recommend Natwange Backpackers. But, very important, is for you to communicate with the host, for example if you want to have break fast (Whats your preferences), at what time? and other details like that. Otherwise its a nice place, near the two biggest shopping center, Mandahill and Arcades/East park mall you will be better off sistuated to make good choices when doing shopping.

Comfortable, basic backpackers close to mall, but everything feels like it peaked 5 years ago and is now purely an income source. No maps of Zambia/Lusaka/Africa or suggestions for activities, limited breakfast spread, and staff who are courteous but always needed to be asked twice. The owners’ 3 year old son is adorable - but a constant presence so stay here if you like/don’t mind small children. I bought a carved giraffe which he repeatedly said he wanted. His auntie brought him over to hold it and I had to plead with her to not get his hopes up as it was a present for a friend. The place is safe and in a good neighborhood, and would benefit from bike hire, better WiFi, more seating for guests or fruit at Breakfast.

Beautiful grounds, great value and good location. Walkable to East Park Mall, and easy to catch the BLS shuttle to airport. Staff is helpful and friendly. Stayed in the hostel room for two separate nights, and it was very comfortable.

Stayed in basic dorm room and since no one else was in the room, turned out to be very good value for money. Huge place and a large mix of rooms and buildings. It seemed a bit disjointed as all were not in equally good condition. Mattresses very worn out and not all had mosquito nets. Good selection of great value food for dinner, although took approx 1 hr to arrive. Breakfast was basic but included in room price (tea/coffee, cereal, eggs and toast). Although they boats two swimming pools, they were less than inviting (green in colour). Walking distance from a newly-built Mall, but not much else in the area. Pretty busy with backpackers so quite a nice vibe.

This is described as a backpackers hotel and I think it got a mixed review from our party. Some of our party were very positive, however we found it lacking in a number of aspects. The rooms were a mish-mash of different accommodation - some in the main building and others in blocks some distance away. Some were ensuite others werent and the positioning of the mosquito netting was quite variable in each room. En suite facilities were quite basic where available. Maybe the owners are in the process of upgrading as they have funds? The grounds weren't as nice as the web pictures make out - no-one considered a swim in what was a quite small pool and not very inviting (there was a second equally small one around the back of the site). The smell of animal dung, put on the grounds to improve the soil while we were there, was quite off-putting. Food was served in an open air restaurant and was good, usual Zambian menu with steak, chicken (some nice skewered meat) or fish. breakfast was rather basic with tea/coffee toast and eggs available. It is described as a backpackers lodge so would be good value and maybe would expect it to be quite basic. Staff were friendly and helpful. A number of back packers were staying there and it seemed popular.

Very nice and safe place with great people close to the Airport. If you wanna be picked up at the airport make sure to organize the shuttle with the reception. As there are many guests you should reassure the appointment with the reception a couple of hours (not days before) to make sure everything works out perfectly. Great place and great people! We will definitely come back.
