Large spacious camping area. Some sites are shady. One ablution a little walk away. Electricity and tap. Restaurant and bar and pool. Giraffe and zebra walking around the camp. Ok for overnight stay. Option to stay in chalets as well.

We camped her while on an overland tour with our two children (10 and 13). I was pleasantly surprised to find that for our entire journey this was my one of my most favorite camping spots. The shared washrooms and showers were clean (if a little buggy - but this is Africa after all). The camping area was large and spread out, grassy and flat. There is a shared cooking / eating hut which is covered and has electricity for charging phones etc and lights. There is game wandering around the camping park, so you need to be aware when walking to the washroom in the night that there are animals walking around. Imagine our delight after brushing our teeth before bed, leaving the washroom and finding a herd of zebra grazing just besides us. There is a bar with cold drinks and wifi and a pool as well (although I can't comment as we didn't us the pool).

Our car broke down and we were forced to get accommodation urgently in Lusaka. The chalet was spacious and newly decorated. The bar has a nice atmosphere and the food (rump) was absolutely out of this world. Giraffe, Zebra and Waterbuck freely roamed through the camp.

I stayed in the newly renovated chalets, and the rooms are very nice. Lovely personal touch made with the overthrows on the beds, etc.The only negative is that there are no desks in the rooms, so don't expect to do work at a desk, here! The restaurant/pub area is clean, but basic, and really could also use an overhaul. The menu also is basic, don't expect cordon bleu! My one complaint is that the lighting along the roadway between the chalets and the central restaurant area is not adequate. However I had a very enjoyable two nights meeting new people around the friendly bar, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a friendly place to stay. It is certainly not executive, but it certainly meets a need in Lusaka. The camp site looks good, and plenty of people seem to use it..... My visit was made memorable by driving past impala grazing in the early morning, on the way out.....

Yes - first impression is great when the road to the camping park is lined with giraffes and the campsite itself has zebras eating its grass not minding the dogs walking around them. But that impression quickly fades when it is time to use the facilities. They are very rustic and not well kept. The bar stays open late and the music is very loud making it nearly impossible to sleep. One shower was super cold, the other the following day was lukewarm.
