It is the third time I stay in Banda Inns. It is simple but perfect. The first place with enough power connectors in the rooms, perfect WIFI all over the place, caring staff. Coming in after working hard at 9 pm they do not hesitate to prepare some food for you. Rooms are clean, place is quiet, owner and staff... More

This place is quite hard to find if you are not paying attention. The signs are quite small and hidden. Coming from the Sheraton to Banda Inn is quite an adjustment, but the rooms are clean and had all the amenities. +1 Clean Basic rooms with mosquito nets (try to get the rooms upstairs, more sunlight) The rooms downstairs are... I traveled to Kampala to adopt my daughter and had the joy of staying at this wonderful and very convenient location. Appreciated the cleanliness, the great food, the wonderful staff and of course the dear owners and thier two boys! Can't wait to go back and visit!!! I stayed her for 2 months with my father and daughter!

This hidden gem in Kampala located in Muyenga area. I discovered in by chance thanks to review on this site. The place can be difficult to locate given that there are no sign posts other than a small sign on the wall of the property itself. Banda is very clean and homey, I stayed for four days and had a... Banda Inns is a nice mid range option in Kampala. We found their location to be convenient. They are a short taxi ride from downtown and shopping, and are within walking distance to a grocery store, ATM, and a few restaurants. They have a nice (included) breakfast, wifi, clean rooms, and they'll cook for you upon request. A piece of... More

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my reviewe; I will be practical and simple yet effective. For those who have never been in Mother Africa and have sought somewhere affordable yet clean and with a kind staff, Banda INN is the place to be. The owner and general manager was kind of enough to give... More

Great staff, nice clean room, nice shower, convenient location, nice chill out areas, really lovely quiet and green compound, yummy breakfasts and Steve was really nice and even introduced us to really delicious ugandan coffee from his fancy espresso machine and much to my dismay, better than Kenyan coffee! :-) Highly recommend!

The big pluses for me were: convenient location (especially for embassy district, universities, Kabalagalah and Kansanga), relatively quiet/tranquil location, feeling of security, homely feel, large clean room, nice garden and verandah, and working wifi. There was no problem with my arriving at 2.00am or shortening my booking by a day. I thought it was good value and would definitely stay... More

As visitors to Kampala know, it is a crowded, hectic city, an exhausting place to travel in. So when we saw the tripadvisor reports for Banda Inns, and the enticing website pictures, we thought the reports might be too good to be true. They aren't. From the minute you enter the secluded and peaceful compound, surrounded by trees, and experience... More

Having stayed at Banda inns several years ago we revisited this time with our 16 month old son. It's still the best place we've found in Kampala. Well organised, friendly lovely to relax around. All in all top marks and will definately return. They even organise cars, drivers, safaries. A top spot.
