Stayed for business. Felt safe and rooms and ambiance very nice. The internet was weak and the restaurant selection is very limited. Service was very good as well. Just across the street from a mall that has a Java and good internet.

If you like stile, if you like green, if you like your privacy, if you like a mediterranean atmosphere, you should book for Bougainviller Hotel. If you prefer something more like an international 5 star hotel with posh lobby, lots of international folks, go somewhere else.

Having fled a nasty hotel in the city centre I got a room for the night in the Le Bougainviller. I have been staying here on and off for a a while and i must say that they have maintained their standards, which a quite good. But at $116 per night it is pricey for what is essentially a B&B.... A bit pricey at USD 120 per/night for 8.5 nights, but the gardening environment is excellent. Be sure to ask for and get a room on the same side of the office. For the room across the street, where the restaurant is located, the first floor, more of a basement, the room lack sun light. Overall vey nice atmosphere to... More

I was in this hotel for one night in a business trip. The breakfast has nothing special. The room I got was in a building across the street in the first floor, which looks like a basement. The room was quite big, but it had many curtains and as it was in the basement did not get to much sun,... More

It's a nice beautiful place, you actually think you are in rural France. I had two issues in general with this place. the WiFi was slow and the breakfast could have been better. Instead of having eggs everyday and no menu, have a variety especially when you are not offering a buffet breakfast. I stayed 3 nights and I got... More

Have stayed in this hotel several times, and none has disappointed. It's decor is excellently finished and rooms well furnished. The break fast can get boring after a few days. Staff are very helpful. The Wi-Fi has improved over time and is now adequately fast.

A great little boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Amazing food (order the tilapia in butter sauce), good wifi, great breakfast. Be warned, the rooms do not have an iron or board and there are only two in the entire hotel. Worth a stay and will return.

It had been two incredibly rough days in Kampala that included an attempted break-in at our first hotel. The hotel was way out of our budget but desperate times called for desperate measures...and it was totally worth it. It was as if we weren't even in Kampala. Quiet, serene, wonderful service. Our room was huge and had a small outdoor... More
