Spent two weeks here and had a lovely time. Really friendly staff, very clean rooms and the garden was well cared for - a true oasis. Highlight was breakfast (eggs, toast, fruit and the occasional yogurt and slice of banana bread) outside under the awning. Reliable taxi option to and from the airport too.

The hotel is located close to a shopping center and a comfortable car ride away from the city center. The rooms are spacious and well-kept with all the amenities you need: tv, wifi, minibar/fridge, mosquito nets for the bed etc. The rooms all feel quite private and are kept clean. The pool is very small and in the middle of...

Adapted to business visitors, Family athmosphere, slow Wifi and a bit slow service, Rooms OK, good food, good breakfast. Stay for 3 business days, 2nights, few meals, few meetings. A different place to be compared to standard medium range hotels;

Fully adapted to Business, even if the internet is a bit slow. great rooms, mosquito nets, and good breakfast. Adapted for 2 business days in Kampala. The rooms are within a garden which brings some kind of Holliday spirit.

Stayed for business. Felt safe and rooms and ambiance very nice. The internet was weak and the restaurant selection is very limited. Service was very good as well. Just across the street from a mall that has a Java and good internet.

If you like stile, if you like green, if you like your privacy, if you like a mediterranean atmosphere, you should book for Bougainviller Hotel. If you prefer something more like an international 5 star hotel with posh lobby, lots of international folks, go somewhere else.

Having fled a nasty hotel in the city centre I got a room for the night in the Le Bougainviller. I have been staying here on and off for a a while and i must say that they have maintained their standards, which a quite good. But at $116 per night it is pricey for what is essentially a B&B....

A bit pricey at USD 120 per/night for 8.5 nights, but the gardening environment is excellent. Be sure to ask for and get a room on the same side of the office. For the room across the street, where the restaurant is located, the first floor, more of a basement, the room lack sun light. Overall vey nice atmosphere to...

I was in this hotel for one night in a business trip. The breakfast has nothing special. The room I got was in a building across the street in the first floor, which looks like a basement. The room was quite big, but it had many curtains and as it was in the basement did not get to much sun,...

“The garden rooms are all great in the main hotel and I prefer the ground floor rooms in the 'French' annexe across the road as they are quieter. The internet is better in the main hotel area if it is critical. By and large I haven't stayed in a bad room yet.”
