Rooms are specious with eastern side ones having the best view of the Kampala city. There is a great and well-kept swimming pool with partying space and other amenities. Outside gardens are beautiful and provide space for outside dining while light music is playing. Hotel restaurants are good. Weekends are vibrant at the pool and the gardens.

The essentials were all taken care of (clean sheets, working air conditioning, bottled water...) but the rooms have definitely seen better days. The pool looked gorgeous though I didn't get a chance to try. The meeting space was adequate but again not incredible. I would definilty recommend the mago chicken salad.

I am staying at the hotel for 4 days .The thing about Uganda no one tells you, traffic can get crazy and the boda boda aka motorbike guys riding quite dangerously I guess they are used to it. Just go for uber from entebbe the hotel pick up cost is something like 30 usd per person even when sharing they...

The hotel is in dire need for a refurbishment, certainly the rooms located in the old block. Carpets are filthy, mosquito nets don't close properly, bathrooms are dated and TV... well, forget TV. The 30 cm, bulky old-fashioned thing in my room was giving me lots of snow. The new "high rise" block though, at the far end, is more...

Lousy rooms, Dirty bathrooms, not so polite front desk to name a few. A very dirty smell when you are in corridor and going towards your room. Breakfast is not so good with very limited options. This was my worst stay so far wherever i have travelled. I would never recommend anyone to opt for this hotel.

Rooms are spacious and offer all required amenities.hotel staff is very generous and always ready to help. Breakfast is good but i felt it has little to offer for vegetarian travellers(you may get fruits, cornflakes, tea, boiled veggies).you may get transport and other required assistance...

Rooms on top floors are run down and air-conditioning didn't work well. Very low water pressure in shower. If you stay here, I recommend trying to get a lower floor because these rooms are more recently remodeled and have better water pressure.

When I first saw my room I asked to change as it was quite noisy on account of the neighbouring building site. However, I was assured by the Receptionist that this was the 'quiet side' as only noisy during the day whereas on the other side it was noisy all the time because of the traffic! Ultimately it was OK...

4th time for me at Africana. Always a good experience. > What I liked: The different restaurant offer you choice (romantic dinner outside with a musician, inside restaurant for great local dishes, peaceful lounge bar for meetings); the quality of the food is good especially the breakfast and buffets; the pool is really nice and for once you can swim!...
