I stayed for a week here. This is actually, two main buildings: the one on the left as you enter is the actual sleeping area; the one on the right is the lobby, restaurant and conference centre. The good parts: Food is fine, even the breakfast (included). Rooms have mosquito nets already around each bed. The outdoor area is rather... More

Having been a backpacker and stayed in hostels and guest houses all over the world, even I was disappointed in this place. It's called a hotel but a hotel it is not. The room was minimally clean, with smeared mosquito guts on the bedroom wall. The bed was completely sunken in in the middle, and the mosquito net was full... More

My charity was looking for a conference venue in Kampala and nearly did not book Pope Paul because of negative reviews about the accommodation. We were glad that we did, though. The setting is very pleasant, with a lovely terrace for outdoor seating. The conference facilities (projector, audio, microphones, the room itself, seating etc) were very good. The food supplied... I have stayed here for two years, 2013, and 2014. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, Guest relations Nickolas is the best. The food is good, with a very nice breakfast buffet. They have a good Business center, with the best staff person. It is very clean, hot water, good nets, I keep my window colsed, and a fan.... More

We stayed here with a group for a mission trip. Let's just say that I have stayed in hostels in other third world countries and this should be listed as a hostel, not a hotel. There were individual bath rooms, but they are gross. Mold around the tube and a toilet made you want to stand up to do your... More

This is quite a basic hotel which I have been to twice on my trips to Uganda. The location is very quiet not too much traffic goes past the hotel and the service is very good and most staff are very helpful. The rooms are basic and although they have mosquito nets its a loosing battle as the hotel is close...
