This is a wonderful escape from Kampala. We stayed here twice - once in June and once in July 2015 to relax at Lake Victoria. The food is delicious, the rooms are clean, they have a nice pool and you can play volleyball or go kayaking. The owners are a lovely German-Swedish couple with two small children.

If you dream about escaping Kampala's hustle and bustle, Lagoon Resort is for you. Steve will welcome you in his little piece of paradise. The uniqueness of Lagoon Resort compared to other resort around lies in its family's atmosphere. You feel like stepping in someone's home. And what a beautiful home! Apart from that the swimming pool is super clean,... More

We stayed here over the valentine’s weekend and had a nice time. The boat trip is great and makes you feel like you’re going a lot further from Kampala than you actually are. Our room was very comfortable and clean and all the dark wood looked great. We’d heard great things about the food but were left a bit disappointed.... More

If you need to chill this is the place!!! Just spend the last few days in Lagoon resort, relaxing, eating great food and having a few drinks. The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff are really friendly. You have nature all around you, got some great photos of birds and amazing flowers. Went for the sunset boat trip and it... More

Lagoon Resort is a perfect get away for a few days. It's simple, tasteful, clean. The food is delicious. After a week or two of hard traveling and hard work, and a refreshing boat trip away, staying at the Resort felt like paradise. (I also appreciated that wifi is not available in the rooms.) I recommend it and look forward... More

It's always exciting to visit exclusive hideouts like Lagoon Resort. The feel of the 35+ minutes boat ride to the Resort is just enough to give you a feel that you're entering wonderland. On arrival at Lagoon Resort, we (my girlfriend and I)were welcomed and settled at the bar counter by the ever smiling Patrick. We were served fresh passion... More

My colleague and I came over here for one night on a weekend during a business trip to Kampala. It was very easy to organize the boat pickup and once we arrived, we knew we'd enjoy our time there. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, and the meals were very yummy. We basically spent the better part of two days lounging/reading... More

It is over ten years since I last felt compelled to write a negative review on trip advisor. But this weekend I have just been subjected to the rudest, most offensive treatment by a hotel manager I have ever experienced. When I arrived at my room at Lagoon Resort it had two small twin beds even though I had booked... More

I had the opportunity to spend some time at the Lagoon Resort in September 2014. After surviving the traffic, dust, and hectic lifestyle of Kampala, the resort was the perfect escape. I was met at the Marina by a very professional boat driver. After a short and very scenic 20 minute or so ride on Lake Victoria, we arrived at... More
