Nice place with a nice view located in the heart of Kampala. City lights night watching, markets ie Nakasero market, Owino Market. Easy to access other locations when you are at Diamonds Hotel. Tax park opposite the hotel makes it possible to move and connect to the rest of country. Hospitality in nature, cleanliness and high level of security made it better for me while staying. Though everything can’t be perfect but I can rate this hotel 80% and I would advise you if you have a limited budget the only affordable and classic hotel you can chose diamonds hotel.
I spent two nights in this hotel, there are a few things to applaud but plenty to criticize. *Positives: -Very clean rooms and a good choice of furniture as well within the rooms. -For the price per night it’s worth it.., if you’re working with a tight budget. *Negatives: -Poor location, it’s noise even late in the night you can’t get a good night’s sleep with all the noise out on the streets. -No parking space for those traveling by private means. -The TVs have limited channels -Their breakfast menu is limited to just a few choices -The hotel entrance is tricky for someone a first-timer, it’s just a narrow staircase passage that you can easily walk past a million times. **But all in all if you’re looking for cheap but nice accommodation this is a place to consider.
