Hotel Bellevue is a charming family run place located in the quiet neighborhood Kodjoviakope, right behind the German Embassy. As a development worker, I have spent several extended stays here and over the past years, the placer really has become my home away from home. What I most appreciate about this place is the extremely helpful and friendly staff and...

Thanks you so much for your wonderfull advise about Belle-Vue, and also the "Annexe" place. Your description of our place is very detailed and nothing is more rewarding than to read your feeling about our staff, our restaurant, our hotel. Thanks again, and it's gone a be a pleasure to welcome you next year in "your home away from home"

This is a quaint hotel a stone's throw from the beach. The rooms in the annex are fairly basic (see photos), however, there's hot water and internet connection. Some of the annex rooms have a sea view. If you like comfort, it's worthwhile to splurge a bit on a new, deluxe room in the main building. They are nice and...

I have been staying in the Auberge in Grand Popo in Benin. Yesterday I decided to go to Lome Togo for lunch at the Belle Époque that I really like. I lost my passport en route and had a very stressful evening wondering what I should do as it had all my visas. The owners wife was just outstanding offering...

I spent two nights at the Hotel Belle-vue. I had travelled from Ghana with some friends for the long weekend. Overall, we were happy with our stay, though the prices seemed a bit high for what was offered. The Good: The restaurant was delicious. We had a variety of meals, all of which were quite tasty. It was not cheap,...

We stayed there in February 2015 for a week. Airport pick-up worked very well. Although we arrived at approx 0.30, they had left the bar open, so we could stock on water and have some Castels. Rooms are basic but clean and vary in quality. 2nd floor seems to be better than 1st floor. Different quality results in slightly higher...

Bellevue Hotel, Lome is in a good residential area not far from the Ghana/Togo border. Rooms are fine for the price and the AC worked well. The eating area next to a small pool is charming as are the staff. The Belle Epoque restaurant, which is part of the hotel, is outstanding. I enjoyed a really good dinner and breakfast...

As has been noted by other reviewers, the restaurant is the selling point here. Bar is pretty sweet as well. Food, service and surroundings would be admirable in Europe but are an incredible treat after a long ride from Ghana, or Benin on the other side. Rooms are spartan, though clean, but I can only guess that this restaurant is...

this is a very pleasant hotel and well situated. it is only ten minutes walk from the border. The restaurant was excellent but you have to pay european prices. The service at the bar was approximative though. the rooms were good but the pricing is really unclear. it depends were you are in the hotel - you will be allocated...

As I wrote in another review, Lome's hotel scene is limited compared to other cities. The Hotel Bellevue is more like a guesthouse than a hotel (although it does have a restaurant which, as other reviewers have noted, serves excellent food). Staff are both friendly and professional. The rooms are adequate - quite old and the bathrooms in particular could...
