Nice and friendly small hotel in a nice neighbourhood which seem to be safe. The hotel is clean. though few places to stay but in the room. Be aware that only french is spoken and there may be same misunderstandings.

Stayed overnight with my wife and kids on our flight to Newark on Ethiopian Airlines. We stayed in the Executive suite which has a spacious sitting room with decent furnishings. The place is like a guest house and meals are pre planned with very little options. The owner was very welcoming and arranged to have us picked up from the airport and personally dropped us off even though the service was not part of the booking. Hotel is located in a quite residential area very near the airport. It appeared secure but very quite as there didn't seem to be much happening nearby. Overall the place is ideal for a quiet stay in Lome or a one night layover near the airport.

I stayed here on transit to another city in the region. I was looking for a hotel near airport and decided to try this place. In terms of location, it is well situated in a quiet area near Lome International Airport. A soccer field is there too in a walking distance. In fact, I went there to watch a game free! In addition, there is a restaurant-bar next to that soccer field. If you enjoy trying local food, then visit this restaurant-bar! Now, back to the hotel itself. The main turn off for me was the Internet. Although I understand that Internet connection can be problem in most African cities, the fact that the hotel was not able to resolve the connection problem is discouraging. When I asked, the told me that the router is located in the manager's office and that they have to wait for the manager to open the office to reset the router! The last turn off point was the lack of hot water in the shower room.

A beautiful, clean, modern boutique hotel with friendly personal service. But..... very disappointed with unmet expectations. Eerily empty, almost no one there ever, not even locals, and those who were there were all men, working at the port or on US/French military contracts. If you're a woman, I wouldn't stay there by myself. Very slow food service, often had to wait hour or more for food to arrive and even then it was not the best (cold, only red chicken meat when you asked for white; tiny shrimp when you asked for large shrimp), unless you were very clear what you wanted. This is a very expensive hotel billing itself as top-notch, but it needs a lot of work to do before it can be that.

Very clean and neat place within walking distance to Lome airport. It's more of a luxury villa converted to hotel than a conventional hotel property. Alhough in a residential area it is easy to find and you reach most places of interest in Lome with a short taxi or motorcycle ride. Staff very friendly and attentative. The roof terrace is great for breakfast and meals and a nice spot to relax on.

I recently stayed here with a small group while preparing for a mission trip across different parts of Togo. I was amazed by how attentive the staff was to our needs. The rooms were as clean as anything I would expect while staying staying in the US and the service was much better. Great showers, television, and bars. The Internet works well and the hotel was always quiet so it is a great place to stay for both business and pleasure. The hotel manager (Will) was very personable and made sure we all felt very welcome. The location is perfect and we never had to worry about any type of safety concerns. I will definitely stay here again in the future!

There are so many great things I can say about this hotel. The convenience to the airport was fantastic, just a few minutes drive. The staff was completely accomodating and the rooms very well kept. I particularly fell in love with the rooftop bar that was a very relaxing way to spend the evening and provided a look out over parts of Lome. An added plus is the art work that adorns the hotel. I have definitely found a place I will stay anytime I am in Lome and I would recommend it without reserve. The people make the stay and I can't say enough about how nice the staff was. Very happy!!

I had read a few reviews about the place, and thought there must be some exaggeration on the part of the reviewers, especially given my past experience when I had travelled to Lome twice and stayed at different establishments. The Hotel is situated less than 5 minutes from the airport in a nice quiet area, The rooms are clean. I spent a month at the hotel and found the service and manner of the people welcoming and unpretentiously friendly. The food was great and there was a willingness to try and cater to some of my tastes. I loved my Morning and evening on the roof terrace, I just disappeared in the quietness of the view and could just enjoy the lovely breeze from atop .The hotel is well priced maybe even underpriced especially in Togo. In the end the beauty and experience of a place is not determined by it's buildings only but by it's people. At residence Flamani you find both and I look forward to my next trip In Togo.

I must say Residence Flamani did truly captivate me. I am particularly impressed about their service. Staff were exceptionally helpful , I had excellent relations with the them. Their rooms are very beautiful plus the bar was excellent. I really enjoyed their pub. I think this hotel ranks high with the very best in west Africa. One feature that caught my eye at the hotel is the way they have named their rooms. There are no room 101 and 102. The rooms are named after the great cities in Africa. So as a Ghanaian I chose to live in Accra. That was really wonderful. Anybody visiting residence Flamani will get good quality for his money. I will recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Lome
