Excellent location.. Booked two rooms in Nov'16 for New Year eve. Called up before leaving about our arrival at 2 p.m. Rooms were not ready and to top it all were informed that our room has been given to somebody else. This confusion continued for few hours when we decided to return home after a meal. Service is miserable, keep...

I didn't stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant. The view is beautiful and the food is good, however the service is slow. It took a total of three hours to serve up food for six people. We all received our food at different times and the person who received their main course first had fished his an...

We live in Freetown and often come to Franco's over weekends. It is in many ways a hidden gem along the coastline of Sierra Leone. It has a nice restaurant and offer 7 rooms for guests. The rooms are very nicely decorated with seaview. The A/C work so so,but some rooms have a fan. The real downside of Franco's is...

This is a popular place for people to visit, especially in the weekend. The views from the place as beautiful and you can easily spend the whole day lounging around the restaurant area or going for a swim. The rooms themselves, including the bathrooms are large and spacious and include a sofa area. There is hot water in the rooms...

Nice venue and locality. Rooms very nice. Service very slow. Very limited menu ,no lobster, crab or King shrimps. Fish, shrimps very nice, pasta average.Smoothies nice but not always available! Unfortunately poor attitude from management who appears to believe they always correct created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Cannot recommend.

This review is only for the restaurant as I have never stayed here. The food here is the best I had in Sierra Leone. The grilled lobsters are excellent, so are the crabs and fish. Not too many options and the food takes a long time to arrive. However, everything is fresh and done to order. The location is just...

The place is indeed beautifully endowed by the nature's bounty - sand, sea, sun and sky! This is more than enough for me as it served my intention when I went there. I wanted to be with the nature, I wanted to rest from the noisy confusion of lifer and work, I wanted to find peace and tranquility. Florence Resort...

In Sierra Leone you don't have much choices, when it comes to hotels, although recently a lot of new hotels have sprung up, and they all compete with the newest and nicest interior designs and styles. Some of these are very successful and refreshing compared to the up until basic survivor style. Yet, having been to Sierra Leone often over...

Despite the very well grillled lobster, the service was poor, take an hour and thirty to come, the beers not cold, coffee take another hour, no desserts... Think twice if you want to pass some hours at the beach or waiting for the food...

Stayed as part of an exclusive tour organised by the excellent London based Rainbow Tours and their partners Visit Sierra Leone. Room 5 was good with stunning views though first room offered was poor. Beach at low tide to left of hotel was rubbish strewn. Service was variable and slow. We did not walk to main beach as at high...
