This place was absolutely amazing. The flavors and service were beyond my expectations. The staff greeted us at the door with smiles and welcoming presence. The service was “next level”; extremely attentive. I had the chicken, marinate In this flavorful sauce.. the humus and tabouleh salad was amazing.. this place was also extremely clean. A hidden gem. I would def recommend it.
Have been here for dinner loads of times & the food gets better all the time. Prices are very good especially the mezze. The salads are also very good. I would recommend the taboule, spicy hummos, lamb liver, Harrira soup & all the grills. It’s also a great place to get a quick business lunch. The only thing I hate is the smoke from the shisha. They also have inside sitting but love the outdoor.
This is somewhere it also took me a couple years to get to, but after trying it for the first time, I have gone back three times in two months! I love the mezze! I could just order from the hot and cold mezze and be content. Thus far everything I have tried from the mezze menu has been great, except the babaganoush. Don’t know if it was just a bad batch, but haven’t tried to re-order it. Otherwise the environment is so lovely in the courtyard seating. There is live music on Thursdays which makes it extra special.
Really really good Lebanese food and loved the atmosphere. A hidden gem if ever I saw one. Spent a great evening here with friends. Music was very enjoyable. Friendly staff. We will certainly return !
Terrific food in a terrific space in the Plateau area. We shared the mezze sampler plate, which featured standard (and delish) hummus, baba ganoush, dolmas, etc, along with an assortment of meats. The large room with high ceiling (open air at the top) and wall of vegetation creates a very chill yet elegant atmosphere. Recommended!
The location was good. Hotel needs a "face lift." It is overpriced for what it is. Good restaurants nearby, good neighborhood. Buffet lunch was expensive. Breakfast included. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very popular name among the elite people of Senegal. Centrally located, cozy restaurant and Bar... Elite crowd with family, including children. Tasty Lebanese Food as well as some what similar to Indian dish also. T hose who are Hubble Bubble (Shisha / Chicha) Lovers.. Must visit
please stay away specially if cleanliness is important, stained sheets and pillow cases... terrible towels... if u r stuck with the booking bring your own towel and something to spread to sleep on... but for me if ever should I visit dakar again, I will not stay here and that is for sure... I saw the rating and expected good rooms but unfortunately it was an unpleasant experience
The hotel is not pretentious. It is more of a bed and breakfast. The rooms are basic. If one is looking for more than basic comforts this not the place for you. The restaurant does make up for the loss though. The food is quite good though the service is slow. The location is in town and one can get to many other locations from the hotel. I enjoyed my stay.
We stayed at the Hotel Farid for just one night and would recommend. The room was modern, the bed comfortable and looks like the hotel website photos. We found the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful. This hotel is located close to the ferry terminal, and Independence Square.
