I had a pleasant stay throughout my 15 days here but the woman in the uploaded image was rude to me on the day I was checking out and all the other staff watched her. No one cautioned her. If she has been fired, I recommend this hotel but if she is still there I advise that you seek another hotel within the same price range. There is also a language barrier as many of them do not speak English.
Arrived late at night The Room was over looking the Pool on the second floor The sliding door was broken couldn't lock Carpet in the room was nearly smooth it was that old, stained and dirty The Room itself was very run down I booked for 4 Nights, checked out the next morning
We had a nice stay at the Savana Jardin. The room was very clean and the AC worked great. We swam in the massive pool and enjoyed the views from the restaurant of the ocean. The staff at the reception were always polite and spoke some english. Our guide Moussa (+221 779180534, firstname.lastname@example.org made our trip so fun and wonderful. We found his recommendation before we left and contact him. If you speak english I strongly recommend a guide because people don't speak english in Senegal and english guides are hard to find.
The Savana is ideally located : 5 minutes drive from the city centre and by the sea. It has a nice garden, an olympic swimming pool , a tennis court and a beach . Nice buffet breakfast. The rooms have views on the sea and the pool . The staff is friendly and helpful. And all that affordable in a city where hotels are expensive.Definitely a place I recommend.
The hotel has a wonderful location on the seafront, but the guest rooms and common facilities are desperately in need of renovation. Breakfast is a disgrace. The seafront restaurant serves good evening meals. Service is not great. WiFi coverage is patchy and the air conditioning in my room made a lot of noise but failed to cool.
