For me this must be just about the best all round choice of hotel in Dakar. We started our Senegal tour with 3 nights here and loved it. It is very smart boutique hotel and represents excellent value for money. Rooms are pleasant and well furnished and spotlessly clean. The whole setting is very quiet and peaceful and there is a lovely garden and small pool area, an absolute oasis a manic city. Breakfast is a continental buffet with the option of eggs and was one of the better offerings we experienced. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is just 2 minutes walk from the beautiful Almadies coastline where there is a selection of bars and restaurants overlooking the water. A taxi is needed to get into downtown Dakar and these are readily available on the main road.

The rooms are big and the hotel was quiet. Staff are very helpful and accommodating, they make sure you have all you need and when there’s an issue they are quick to resolve. The WiFi stopped working on two occasions, the staff were quick to try and resolve though. A pleasant stay overall

Dakar has not much to offer except Ile de Gorée. This hotel is located at the tip of West Africa in a cool breeze in the evening and with lovely temperatures during daytime (March). The small pool is even cold. The rooms are OK, airco is functioning, the amenities are sparse. Wear and tear leave its traces. The lobby is wide and open, breakfast in the morning on open terrace, just interrupted by the noise of the swimming pool pump. Wifi functions everywhere, but is better outside of the room. Staff is a bit anonymous. Bets feature is the number of excellent fish restaurants within walking distance, f.i. Ngor.

I love this hotel. It was comfortable, clean, with attentive staff. An oasis after a day of exploring. The location in Almadies across the street from the ocean and great beach front eateries was also a plus. I will definitely stay again

I found this place quite basic. My room was basic, dark and honestly a bit depressing to be in. Bed sheets were not the right size for the mattress and you’d find that the bedsheets roll out at night. Breakfast was pretty basic... They did have free wifi which was a good speed.
