Located in a center area of Dakar, particularly convenient to access the airport. Basic business hotel, rooms are quite small but cozy and very clean. Italian management with excellent food on the rooftop restaurant and for breakfast. Receptionist very nice and funny. Recommended for business people who don’t need leisure facilities.
Don't stay here if you like the freedom of hot/warm showers anytime of the day. After a beautiful time at Cape Verde, next stop on our holiday adventure was Dakar. After a long trip caused by flight delays, we were made to pay more money to check into the hotel early but we've spent the early check in time solving problems. There's no hot water because they use the sun as I've been told by the receptionist so I have to wait. When will it come? She can't say but it will come. The room intercom doesn't work. For an 'international' hotel you'd expect staff that can speak and understand English to an extent at least. Apart from the manager who doesn't really care about us, the only person with little understanding of English is the receptionist. My husband has a headache but he can't rest yet because he keeps going to the reception to ask about hot water as the intercom doesn't work. This nightmare is currently unfolding and I hope I wake up soon. …
Stayed in the hotel on a business trip. Time was perfect - absolut firendly and helpfull staff, shuttle on time with experienced driver, room clean, friendly and cozy, breakfast great. Would fedinetly book again.
Going for business to Dakar. This is a good hotel to stay. With basic breakfast and clean rooms. The only challenge is the front office team speaks ltd English and check out time is strictly 12 noon. Sometimes these things can be challenging when the front office can’t talk English fully and they are hell bent on 12 noon check out for a business traveler. Rest would recommend this hotel for a good short business stay.
Hotel is affordable and the facilities are top notch. The staff are very friendly and helpful. What I could whinge about a little is that it is a little out of town and I struggled to sleep at night as the AC was so cold and the bedding did not provide enough warmth, so found myself freezing at night. AC is centrally set and cannot be brought down for some reason so be mindful and bring warm clothes to sleep in.
