Visited the hotel for a bit after some shopping around the area. The service is excellent and staff well trained, from the gateman who was quick to come guide as park and looked out for other cars on departures the parking is besides the King Fahd Rue. We arrived and were quick to be assisted by a waiter who told is of the other restaurant (Le Barolo) at the hotel. He took us to see so that we could decide where we would sit. We opted for the Bistro Noliane. The Barolo is quite a lovely place to have a romantic dinner or even hosting a group for a dinner event. Back to Noliane, we had a pizza and finished with a Tiramisu dessert. The food is delicious and the desert was to die for. My husband is not a sweet tooth but was licking his spoon at the end of the dessert. If you are in dakar, its definitely a place worth visiting. I will definately be back…
I was given a selection of hotels to choose from and The Palms looked like a good bet. I was not mistaken. The staff were great and offered me tea upon my arrival, which was just what I needed. The whole time I stayed there, I could not have been more pleased with the service. The two restaurants there are great and rooms are quite nice. I will go there again if ever in Dakar.
Rooms were exceptionally clean. As mentioned by other reviews the water did go all over the floor from the shower. It would have been nice if I had hot water to shower with. Room service didn’t come during my stay (which is fine by me but others may get upset). The hotel is clean but whoa they perfume the living daylights out of everything. Breakfast is include and was tasty. Rooms open by “real” key. Safes operate that was too. Cute, boutique, close to good restaurants.
Stayed for ten days. No real conception of service although the folks are very nice. Rooms are small, have the bare minimum and are showing signs of wear. Far from convenient stores in Almadies so get read for 5 dollar water and soda in Senegal. No facilities. I imagine it caters to the niche diplomatic and business community because the alternatives nearby are even worse.
I think i’ve found a great place in Dakar. The rooms were nice, clean, modern and comfortable. The sleep quality was fantastic, and I loved the little snacks they had in the room to welcome me. The shower is ok... clean, but a little on the tiny side. Breakfast is a fantastic, good options daily. I like that there is a pool and comfortable areas around the boutique hotel for one to rest and relax at. The only thing I found a bit not to my liking was the food choices. The menu is quite limiting and the food service isnt at all hours (even during the day)- for example lunch or anything to snack on may not be available after I believe 3pm. The front desk service is excellent- lovely ladies at the front desk. The botique hotel is at an excellent location, making access to other restaurants around almadies, easy. All in all, I love the place and would be back.…
