Excellent stay with very friendly staff and a delicious diner and breakfast. You feel at home very quickly. The rooms are very well equiped and you are located in a residential area of kigali. Highly recommend it.

This hotel is very comfortable and beautifully decorated with delicious food, a good quiet location and attentive staff. I was in Kigali for a conference and this hotel was even closer to the KCC than I thought: about 15 min easy walk. I arrived very early in the morning and had a late flight out: the staff were able to accommodate me for a breakfast in the garden on first day, extended access to my room on the day I was leaving since they weren’t turning it over immediately and were able to pack me off with a sandwich! Staff were very helpful and friendly: staying at this hotel made my stay in Kigali extra enjoyable. If you are looking for a personal touch, look no further!

We traveled to Kigali for a conference and spent a week at the Amata n'Ubuki hotel. This is a truly exceptional hotel. The owner and staff were incredibly warm, kind and helpful; they made us feel completely at home. We felt totally spoiled! The hotel is in a gorgeous mansion with beautiful artsy decor and the rooms were impeccable with every comfort provided. The location is in a quiet leafy neighbourhood of Kigali, near to art galleries and restaurants. It is just a 10 minute walk to the convention center and the perfect place to stay for anyone attending an event there. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return. Our experience in Kigali was unforgettable, and this hotel played a large part in making the place feel so special to us.

What an absolute gem of a hotel. The location is conveniently close to the convention centre and walking distance to many attractions in town. The hotel itself is so thoughtfully designed and laid out. The artwork and decor were carefully curated. The staff was incredibly attentive and all so kind and communicative. I loved breakfasts out on the patio and felt so very much at home. One of my favourite hotel experiences ever. When I go back to Kigali I will only stay there.

This small hotel is beautiful, filled with original works of art by local artists. There is a restaurant that serves delicious continental food near the pool. It’s great here. I will stay on every visit to Rwanda. Professional staff and service. Enjoy!

I stayed here for one week while attending a conference at the nearby convention centre. The hotel is really good, with all the amenities you would expect. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the ground floor serves great food at all times of the day. On one evening, we were treated to traditional Rwadan live music. Definitely recommend.

This is an excellent hotel if you don't want a big hotel but you want to be close to the action. Quiet, well located and boutique. Great attentive staff, excellent restaurant (frequented by locals which is always a good sign), comfortable rooms. I accidently left my passport at the hotel and they went out of their way to make sure I my inconvenience was minimised. I would recommend for couples, solo or a family stay.

I spend hours pouring over where to stay on vacation and I can only say that Amata N’Ubuki surpassed my high expectations. It is located in a lovely safe area and the hotel is spotless and extremely well decorated with beautiful artwork and objet D’art but what makes the hotel so special are the people who own and run it. Charlotte the owner is an absolute gem, so incredibly gracious with her time and a wonderful host. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was extra special and my daughter and I could not be more appreciative. Thank you so much. Drinks on the patio learning about her wonderful country was a special treat. And the service is impeccable. The staff are extremely attentive to your needs. Without asking upon returning to our from a swim, someone arrived at the door with blow driers for my daughter and I. Wow, that was impressive!
All I can say is this spot is a little gem in a lovely city and I highly recommend it!
Merci encore Charlotte!

I stayed here a total of four nights (coming and going to other parts of the country). The rooms and beds are very comfortable and clean. They have a very nice pool which I enjoyed. The food is REALLY good. I had the Rwandan Mezze Platter (to taste a little of all things Rwandan) and the Osso Bucco which was delicious. It's an easy walk to the convention area where there are shops, bars and restaurants. On a quiet and safe street. The staff is warm and friendly and very eager to please. The decor is beautiful. Would stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a gorgeous place. It's just a 15 minute walk from the Kigali Convention Centre but tucked away in a lovely, peaceful green setting. The garden and house are beautiful and filled with original art. The staff are fantastic -- professional and very helpful. The food was delightful. What more can I say? It is what a boutique hotel should be.
