Great location, the rooms are spacious and clean with good wifi. Nice garden and some of the rooms have balconies. The staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful in all matters. The food served during the COVID hotel quarantine is great and they even prepared something to eat when I arrived in the middle of the night after a delayed flight. Highly recommend.
Our stay at The Nest was great, the staff is really nice and the rooms are comfortable. They arranged our airport pick up and were really helpful. The food is very nice too! And the location in Kimi is nice.
I stayed at the Nest at the recommendation of a business contact. An excellent, reasonably priced guesthouse. Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet location in a smart area of Kigali. Food unadventurous but tasty and healthy (especially breakfast). And all during the COVID inconveniences, it made a huge positive difference to my visit to Kigali
Just don’t go. The marketing of this hotel is fabulous and looking at their pics you will think you are going to stay in a cozy boutique hotel. Well... don’t trust them. The hotel is actually bad, the rooms are super basic (with stains on the blankets) and surprise : my “superior room” had the wc into the shower! The food is also very bad. Oh and from my room I could perfectly hear all the conversations of my neighbours, as they were sitting with me! Just avoid it there are much better place to stay in Kigali.
I was there for the quarantine. The place is very simple, not as nice as in these pictures as the room was a bit old, but it is clean, and has everything you need (no TV though in case you want one). Transportation from the airport is perfect, quick and comfortable. Food is good, they have healthy breakfast which fit both adults and children. Staff is very nice. If you are 2 or more, the price of the room is 95USD. Apart from the fact that the room was a bit old and without any decoration, the rest was very good and I would gladly go back.
