I have spent 8 nights at this lovely hotel, right in the centre of St Denis so it is walking distance to most places, that is if you can handle the 35 degrees - buy an umbrella! The staff are lovely and helpful, with a special mention to Olivia who I relied on at times. The breakfast is continental and certainly adequate and to a good standard. This can set you up for the day. They have a good pool, I spent a lot of time in, that has some depth and sitting near the pool having a beer is a good way to pass the time relaxing. The evening meal was also good if you chose to eat in. The downsides would be the bedroom and en-suite are compact, so you need to organise yourself and the air conditioning in the bedroom struggled to do its job. Apart from that, I can certainly recommend a stay at this lovely establishment.…
We had been on Reunion for 3 days and had planned on staying outside St Denis for our last night but became aware of the Yellow vest protests and the possible disruptions and so decided to stay closer to the airport. Unfortunately, the Hotel we had stayed in our first night was full and so began our hunt for a place to sleep. Thankfully Le Juliette was our second stop and whilst originally they too were full the receptionist ‘Romy’ was amazing and started phoning around the town and gave us access to the hotel wifi. It soon became clear there were no options and then Romy insisted she would change a booking for a single person and give us their double room... we were overwhelmed and felt she was so kind, thoughtful and went very much beyond what we would expect from a Hotel where we didn’t even have a booking. The Hotel itself is lovely too. Old style with lots of character but beautiful touches and all the other staff we dealt with were also kind and helpful. We have travelled to over 50 countries each and last night Romy’s act of kindness was exceptional and one of a kind. This is before the awesome Hotel she works in which again is up there with the Best of the best. …
Staff was very friendly and professional but the hotel needs a facelift. The room we got was not worth the money we paid, small and doubtful cleaniness. We cancelled the reservation for our return leg of our trip since there were better and cheaper rooms in St Denis.
One night stay for business. Friendly welcome at the reception. My luggage got there first and was well handled until I came for check in. Great location for a city hotel. Had a friendly chat with the receptionist who was very knowledgeable.
The hotel is good located and the old town is in a walking distance. The service Staffel is friendly. But unfortunately the hotel needs a Renovation, just the big rooms could look claener after a renovation. And even we asked the hotel for a vegan breakfast many month before out reservation, there was no willingness to offer one.
