I really liked the place, once I located it. Even found it easy navigating my way to and fro thereafter. Very respectful staff, clean rooms and tasty food. Liked the ambience too, felt really safe there even though I wasn't quite sure why. Downside was the plumbing in my room which I believe could have been improved and the shower could not be trusted to deliver warm or cold water consistently. Had to rush to make sure I made the best use of it the few mins/secs the water remained warm

I stayed for 4 nights. My room was clean and the power jet shower was quite soothing. I liked the really spacious closet and ample sitting area even a little pouffe to rest on while I wore my shoes. Half of the cable channels were fuzzy (maybe if I chose a room upgrade the tv selection might have increased from the miserly 5 I had) and the wifi was ok. The abstract painting prints lent a classic air to the living-space. It had a cute patio with awnings and grass turf -though artificial. Didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked pretty. However, the lamb grill and rice i ordered (room service) was awful. The Rice was well cooked but the accompanying sauce was not tasty. The onions and tomatoes attached to the skewer were sodden and the lamb was unrecognizable as it was charred outside and mushy inside. I guess it had been in the freezer for donkey years- that was my only complaint. I had to ask for an indigenous meal, and they had a skinny menu of that- that was tasty. I didn't eat there again after that. Maybe I should have told the nice manager... Kindly, Respectful staff. I didn't mind strolling out towards the main road & the locality is surrounded by highbrow estates and government agencies. Ah well it isn't the Hilton, but it's much much much better than most hotels which parade hoity-toity prices for substandard services.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights after checking for a good, quite and affordable place on line and this place was recommended by one of the sites I checked, very quite and homely place with a gym, spa and a unisex saloon . But the location is really off any major link road. I was apprehensive because of the road to the hotel but glad and comforted by the beautiful location and and warm staff on duty.

As an American business traveler, I'm always looking for a nice hotel with reasonable prices, and the Auris Court is one such hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, the staff is great, the food is good, and the location is convenient and safe. I would highly recommend the Auris Court to anyone visiting Abuja. I look forward to staying at the Auris Court on future trips to Abuja, and that's not something I can say about hotels I've stayed in while visiting various areas of Nigeria!
