I was unimpressed by the Homeland Hotel and would recommend you look elsewhere, if possible. Pros: bed was clean (though on the hard side), mini fridge in the room, AC in my room worked well, staff was friendly, food and service at the restaurant was fine for dinners and breakfasts, the small outdoor pool made for a nice outdoor sitting...

Pros: First, the bed! The website says that their beds have been recently replaced with Temperpedic mattresses, which I find hard to believe. However the bed was the most comfortable of any hotel bed I have slept on in a long time. In addition, the staff is friendly and attentive. I mentioned upon leaving the first morning that my toilet...

After reading some of the reviews on trip advisor I was a little bit worried about Homeland Hotel but it was a good hotel. The price was fair, the rooms clean (although a little bit dark, wifi was OK (considering that it is bad all over Niamey) and the breakfast was also Ok. Security was good and the hotel is...

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days in October 2016. First room looked more like a dungeon than a room. Second had a terrible smell, but the fan worked. The room wasn't cleaned for 3 days in a row. Wifi barely worked at the reception, none beyond. Breakfast is an additional 3,500 CFA and consisted of watery coffee and whatever...

I have been here because i was unable to reserve my room in my preferable hotel in niamey, so thought to spend the night here as it is closed to turkish resturant, namaste india and La plier, but when i wnquired about the room they say its available but price was too high like 45500fcfa, its too much. Well, anyway,...

Have stayed at this place before and it is what it is... Nothing special, very basic and quite overpriced like all hotels in Niamey. However, if you get a room in the Niger building closer to the restaurant, the rooms are ok and somewhat clean. A/C worked well, internet acceptable and the window was repaired at my request the following...

The photos attached speak for themselves. while the hotel may be located in a secure district given the proximity of the german embassy and the lycee francaise that is all it has. Rooms are poor - and the food only way to describe it is mamma mia quel disastre - wifi is weak but if you can get up at...

I know that Niamey has few good hotel options - as part of this trip I also reviewed most of the 'top' properties in town so I can see that the bar is low - but I still find it hard to find good things to say about Homeland. I stayed a week at the hotel, and was pretty happy...

A bit hard to review this Place as it has many ups and downs and is a bit incosistent... Many people applaud the security and yes, it has a number of guards around the Clock and they try to be cautious on who enters and not. At the same time I walked through the security entrance with dozing guards more...

I was very close to change the hotel after the first night: room was most probable never cleaned after last client, dirty toilet and around 30 mosquitoes in the room. The only reason why I stood in the hotel was the good security and the controls who can enter the hotel and therefore my company wanted me to stay there...
