Rooms great, very clean hotel, lovely pool & garden. Food is superb here, especially the beautifully cooked vegetables. Best quality buffet food I have ever experienced. A great first night to start my tour of Namibia, wouldn’t have minded a night of relaxation here to finish off the holiday before flying home.

A nice flash large hotel but I'm not sure the staff are up to it. Couldn't get in the room as key not enabled and not enough food for early breakfast as another tour group had eaten it all. Staff on reception were slow and had no cash apparently! Rooms were good and the surroundings were smart and well kept. A bit out of town so taxis needed. If you're into geology there is a great small museum in a building just across from the hotel. Only there one night so didn't try the pool, sauna etc.

Dear Guest, I wish to apologise for the inconvenience with your room key. As the chefs endeavour to keep the hot food fresh throughout the breakfast service from 06h30 to 10h00, it could have been that they were busy refilling the serving platters as they refill them continuously. Reception staff do not have large amounts of cash at the Front Desk for safety and there is always a manager at hand to assist them with small change or changing forex. I am happy that you enjoyed our newly refurbished bedrooms and wish that you could have tried our sauna and steam room as the spa area is very relaxing and invigorating. We trust that you will visit Safari Hotels again in future and give us the opportunity to extend our hospitality to you. Kind regards.

From the outside the hotel looks to be a perfect last night hotel in Namibia. The entrance area looks very up market, the rooms are a good size, but that we where the good is outweighed by the bad. We were in a large group all located on the same floor, and when we all reached our respective rooms we ALL found out that our key cards were not operating as the reception forgot to swipe them so as to activate them so this required 1 person from each room going down to the reception and waiting in turn for somebody to do the biz. We were due to leave the hotel early, but when we got to the breakfast area then nothing or very little was left as another touring party had got there 1st, and asking the staff to replace the food was very trying as at 1st they were reluctant as the chefs had only prepared what they concidered as being sufficient for both tour groups. After breakfast or what was available I went to settle my bill for drinks the previous night, and whilst the reception staff appeared helpful it then transpired that they do not carry any change, and whether this is a ploy for a tip or not then I am not sure, but after the breakfast or lack of breakfast issue then I was unwilling to leave the differance. I did then suggest that I owed them, but somehow from a magic drawer cash change appeared so I believe my 1st thought of looking for a tip was correct

Dear Guest, I am very interested to know whether you were on one of the Air Namibia delayed flights as the Receptionists do try and get the guests to their bedrooms as fast as possible to enable the guests to relax and enjoy their dinner. I am very sorry for the inconvenience with the key cards and as I have responded in an earlier exact similar comment as yours, that the food for the hot buffets are continuously being freshly prepared in the kitchens to ensure that guests receive hot food from 06h30 until 10h00. It might be a good idea to request a manager when any staff member in any business uses the excuse of no change as our Receptionists all have a float and it is only when we exchange forex that they require a manager to assist them. We wish to thank you for bringing this matter to our attention to enable us to ensure that a similar situation does not occur in future. Kind regards.

I spent 2 nights at the hotel for a conference. The conference venue was great. I think they should improve on their refreshments; Horrible candy: more like stone, no drinking water in the room and clogged bathroom. The new trainee girl at the reception needs to be retrained( if she has been trained) on customer relations. She should learn how to talk to people esp bkacks? There was a 3 hour power failure and the mgt didn't find it appropriate to at least apologise to their guests. I enjoyed the food. I will give the mutton stew a 100/100.

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time in providing us with your review. Unfortunately the peppermints that are provided are sealed and as it is more a breath freshner, I do not think that they were meant to be chewable. Every bedroom in the Safari Court Hotel is provided with one complimentary bottle of water, whereafter water is available from one of our four bars. During any power failure the guests are provided withe a letter informing them of the reason for the power failure and what the approximate time of reconnection might be. I am very sorry that it would seem that you did not receive a copy of such a letter. Thank you for the compliment regarding the mutton stew. I will inform the Head Chef of your kind comment. Kind regards.
