Nice hosts and great breakfast with delicious homemade bread! Nice terrace under a shady pepper tree. Safe parking, big clean rooms, no dinner option available, but this was not an issue for us, since there are a lot of options in Windhoek.
Lovely place for first night in Windhoek, super friendly and helpful with comfortable well equipped rooms. Pleasant outside area with plunge pool. Close to great local restaurants. Staffed by wonderful people. Great breakfast to start the day.
Very nice place with a pool for cooling down and beautiful relaxing area. Absolut great breakfast and very friendly family helping their guests whenever necessary. Comfortable rooms and beds. Very clean location!
Stayed here upon arrival in Windhoek. With Covid, limited service. Only 1 staff on premises, she did the best she could. Room was OK, comfy beds, small bathroom/toilet space. TV not working but at least internet access available. Breakfast had very limited choices. For lunch and diner, either dine out or order. PS: owner yelling under my window while watering plants in the afternoon, as we were trying to nap to catch up on jet lag, shows complete disregard for guests!…even if we were the only ones! All in all, nothing to report home about. This is an OK stopover for 1 night.
The Villa Violet is a quiet and comfortable place. Not many rooms. The environment is calming. Appears safe. Close to Joe's Beerhouse ( a must when visiting Windhoek). Easy to get to the town centre. Good service. When I stayed there, there was no one else staying. But, the staff were present and provided an excellent breakfast. Definitely recommended.
Spent the first and last night of my Namibian and Botswanan vacation here. It's a nice, little 8 room place on a laid back side street. Every one from the owners to the night guard were extremely polite and accommodating. Rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, although they are a touch on the small size they offer everything you will need for a good night sleep. Breakfast is included, (can't comment as I didn't eat anything). There is an honor bar with cold drinks and snacks located in the breakfast area, as well as a sitting area with some books to read. Wifi is included and was very fast while I was there. A small pool is also available, although I did not use it. The rates were reasonable and they have secure parking on site. I travel to Windhoek a few times a year and this will be my "go to" place from now on. Highly recommended.…
We stayed for one night at the end of our visit to Namibia and very much enjoyed the place. Quiet, nice little garden and welcoming staff. Rooms are all one can wish for in terms of comfort and cleanliness.
we stayed for one night. It is a bit out of the way of city center, but we made it work. The facilities are safe, clean and the folks who work there are not only helpful, but also knowledgeable. Comfortable room.
We stayed here at the beginning and end of our visit to Namibia. There is little to do here other than sit in the lounge or by the pool and catch up on emails, but it is a convenient place to recharge the batteries after a long flight or before heading off into the countryside, or going to the airport. Rooms are compact but clean, breakfast is fine and the staff are friendly.
We really enjoyed our two-night stay at Villa Violet. The rooms were cozy, the breakfast is served with good choice of food, the environment is very charming, with this big tree in the garden next to the pool. But what I loved the most is the staff. Especially Annelie was so lovely, yet very professional and helpful in following our needs. I totally recommend to book this place, is literally two steps away from another institution in Windhoek, the famous Joe's Beerhouse!
