The Villa Violet is a quiet and comfortable place. Not many rooms. The environment is calming. Appears safe. Close to Joe's Beerhouse ( a must when visiting Windhoek). Easy to get to the town centre. Good service. When I stayed there, there was no one else staying. But, the staff were present and provided an excellent breakfast. Definitely recommended.
Spent the first and last night of my Namibian and Botswanan vacation here. It's a nice, little 8 room place on a laid back side street. Every one from the owners to the night guard were extremely polite and accommodating. Rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, although they are a touch on the small size they offer everything you will need for a good night sleep. Breakfast is included, (can't comment as I didn't eat anything). There is an honor bar with cold drinks and snacks located in the breakfast area, as well as a sitting area with some books to read. Wifi is included and was very fast while I was there. A small pool is also available, although I did not use it. The rates were reasonable and they have secure parking on site. I travel to Windhoek a few times a year and this will be my "go to" place from now on. Highly recommended.…
We stayed for one night at the end of our visit to Namibia and very much enjoyed the place. Quiet, nice little garden and welcoming staff. Rooms are all one can wish for in terms of comfort and cleanliness.
we stayed for one night. It is a bit out of the way of city center, but we made it work. The facilities are safe, clean and the folks who work there are not only helpful, but also knowledgeable. Comfortable room.
We stayed here at the beginning and end of our visit to Namibia. There is little to do here other than sit in the lounge or by the pool and catch up on emails, but it is a convenient place to recharge the batteries after a long flight or before heading off into the countryside, or going to the airport. Rooms are compact but clean, breakfast is fine and the staff are friendly.
