We had to overnight in Windhoek on the first and last night of our trip and did not regret choosing the newly opened Luxury Suites!

Everything is brand new and your stylish room is just the perfect size for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable, the aircon working perfectly and they even put a couple of bottles of wines in your room which you could purchase for a very reasonable price. (nice touch!) We appreciated the coffee machine, decent bathroom amenities and the outdoor terrace area. (If you want some privacy, ask them for one of the buildings at the back though.)

The accommodation is conveniently located in Klein Windhoek and getting here from there airport is quick and easy.

Breakfast is served across the road at Stellenbosch Tasting room and is fair for the price you pay. We also had dinner there in the evening, which was very convenient, with a great selection of South African wines and good food.

Highly recommended!

Beautiful, clean and modern hotel in a quiet area of town. Embassy of Japan is across the street. Decor is minimal and aesthetically refreshing after some days in camps. Rooms are comfortable and open out into a green courtyard. There is an nespresso and mini fridge in the room. The property is securely fenced with a guard on duty. Management can arrange taxis, but really the best dining and shopping is across the street at the Stellenbosch wine bar or restaurant. There is a swanky deli at the complex and a very nice local crafts store there also, where we picked up some local hand loomed rugs at good prices. Breakfast is included and has nice choices.

This wasn’t one of the options suggested by our agent - I had researched it independently and am glad we tried it out. We passed some of the recommended places on our way to WLS and this location and boutique style was much more to our liking.

Our stay at the beginning of our trip in April was wonderful. Beautiful, spacious quiet rooms, with very, very helpful staff, who drove us to the nearby shopping mall to pick up what we needed for the remainder of our trip. Breakfast across the street is excellent and the restaurant was wonderful for dinner, with a lovely outdoor seating area. The staff arranged a city tour for us, and after we left, emailed us about an article of clothing which they found and were keeping for us. I highly recommend Windhoek Luxury Suites for a stay at the beginning or end of your trip.

Beautiful property, super service, (shout out to Debbie and George) spotless rooms, secure site. Six two story buildings. Rooms all seem to be the same depending on ground (patio) or first floor (vaulted ceiling, balcony), rooms on the ends of each building have an extra window. Quiet location. All the staff are super supportive of guest needs, arranged airport transfer, rides to downtown, and a COVID test! Good bath products, in room nexpresso with REAL milk in the fridge. Adjacent Stellenboch Wine Restaurant provides the included breakfast, anything on the menu. Food excellent, but a bit pricy at dinner ($7 bottle of water anyone?).

In the Klein Windhoek neighborhood. Not much around in walking distance but the hotel offered transport

All in all a great landing place in Windhoek.

We couldn't have found a better place to stay in Windhoek. It was beautifully decorated, the rooms are spacious, spotless and their design is modern and tasteful. The staff were really great too.
It is an oasis in the city.
The Suites also provide access to the Stellenbosch across the road which has great dinner and breakfast options.

Clean and well maintained property, everything looks brand new. Rooms are modern and spacious, staff is very friendly and helpful. A couple of well managed restaurants are just over the street where breakfast is served as well. Breakfast was great, we got a voucher for breakfast to be redeemed in two restaurants/cafes and could choose whatever we wanted from the menu. Car park is within hotel premises.

We stayed one night at the beginning and one at the end of our trip to Namibia in Windhoek, exploring two different hotels. The Windhoek Luxury Suites Hotel was definitely the better experience.

We stayed at the Windhoek Luxury Suites for one night at the end of our two-week self-drive tour around the country. It was a perfect way to end the trip! Our room on the second level of the Chardonnay block was incredibly well-appointed. The large bed was incredibly plush, the bathroom was spacious and the Nespresso machine a nice touch.

The entire hotel also felt incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We spent some time sitting outside in the main courtyard area, which was lovely. The staff was also incredibly accommodating with our requests for a late check out, a packaged breakfast and to look after our bags.

I ended up getting stuck here in the beginning of the COVID lockdown when airports were closing. I managed to get on a repatriation flight to my home a few weeks later but during my time here the service was excellent. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and checked on me as I was travelling solo. The owner was kind enough to give me a discount due to the lockdown and since I was unsure of anything at that point (how long I would be there, etc.) so that was very helpful. They even drove me to the big shopping mall to get things I needed for my stay.
The entire staff is so lovely and welcoming! The rooms are clean and gorgeous. Pool area is a bit small but it’s a great place to relax. The staff are happy to get more cushions if needed. Lots of restaurants and grocery shops within walking distance. Breakfast at the restaurant next door is superb!
I had an amazing stay and thank everyone for their kindness! I will definitely stay here during my next visit!

Lovely hotel, rooms beautiful, clean and with thoughtful features.
Amazing shower. Nespresso machine in room.
Breakfast restaurant in a stunning complex across the road.
BUT…
Two things really let the hotel down.

The lady on reception was really grumpy, not the welcoming Namibian arrival we had been experiencing for the previous 10 days across the country. Her attitude was that our arrival was an annoyance, and hardly anything was explained to us about the hotel. It doesn’t cost anything to smile.

Secondly, the pool lining is filthy. Despite the pool having the cleaning machine going around it, there’s so much grime built up on the lining, it makes you want to avoid using it.
The pool area could be really lovely, but first the water needs emptying, the walls and floor scrubbing or the lining replacing.

Could easily be a 5, but these two things are key and need rectifying if a perfect score is to be given.
