The stay was very pleasant, unfortunately there was a large function from outside guests at the restaurant. The views of the valley are superb and the privacy and room allocation are spot on. The room/s do need some attention, aircon upgrade and perhaps a slightly larger bar fridge. The place has got alot of potential and the location is excellent.

This establishment is rated a 4,5 star. This came nowhere close to that rating. The room we stayed in was clean but simple. There was not even a mirror or hairdryer in the room to blow dry your hair. The shower head was full of lime scale, the shower floor needed a good scrub and the hand towel rail fell...

A lodge that deserves much better care: the staff is very nice, the environment and the views are great, but the owners are obivously not interested in keeping this place in an acceptable state. The rooms are rundown, not well-maintained at all, not inviting, We had dirty water from our tap, had to call somebody to open the faucet. and...

This is an excellent location for a peaceful and relaxing breakfast. It offers awe inspiring views over the valley and surrounding hills. The food and service is very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is familiar ... nothing stands out but all together it is a feeling of welcome, pleasant good hearted place in the bush just outside Windhoek. Lovely sunsets having a beer or two. Want a quick lunch , simple food but delicious ... this is your stop. The accommodation and rooms or rather little bungalows are lovely. Far enough away...

We have stayed at River Crossing on several occasions and loved every visit. The rooms are beautifully situated with a great view. The restaurant is good and the "sundowner view" is worth it. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a great stay outside Windhoek, this would be a good choice.

Stopped in Windhoek here for two nights before we set off on our Safari Drive. Individual huts/chalets and quite well laid out. Food while basic is very good. Set in the hillsides just outside Windhoek and a 20 minute drive from the airport.

My wife and I stayed at the lodge from 30 August until 2 September 2016 when I presented a lighting workshop to professionals in Namibia. From the moment that we arrived, we were greeted with amazing smiles, good humour and truly excellent service. Our cottage was very comfortable, well appointed, light and airy. It was very well cared for each...

This lodge do have very nice rooms with a view of the mountains surrounding Windhoek and is only a very short distance out of the city. You feel as if though you are in the bush with the city lights visible at night. Friendly and help full staff.

Located on the outskirts of Windhoek, on top of a hill over looking the lights of the capitol made for a great quiet sleep in a comfortable bed, above average size room. Although the layout was poor as the tv was off to the side and the outside paths were combination of dirt and paving making it uneven. Lighting was...
