Loved this lodge which we used for our last stop before going home (1hr from the airport). The rooms are large and beautifully furnished, there is a pool and hide overlooking a waterhole where you can watch the birds. There are binoculars to borrow and there are nature walks around the local area. The wifi was probably the best of... More

The clayhouse is beautifully decorated, with a strong sense for local art, very comfortable and intimate. The owner is very welcoming and available. Felt like guests in someone's house. Sundowner terrace for relaxing and watching beautiful sunsets. Nice pool to dive into as you arrive from the heat of the road. Cute independent cottages. Nice home-cooked food - they even... More

We stayed at Eningu for 3 nights as a mini break. It was just what we were looking for, not too busy and just an hour from Windhoek airport. The food was mostly very good - it was fresh, varied and well presented. Quite nice actually just to have one choice based upon what could be sourced and was available... More

This is an unusual and charming place, all built out of clay obviously, with a beautiful communal area and a well-designed pool, and well-appointed accommodation huts. It's not big, and therefore there's less chance of encountering a large group. The owner, Bettina, is a charming and helpful host, and was very helpful to us when we had an emergency at... More

We stayed here at the end of a self-drive safari. It is close to Windhoek airport where we dropped off our rental car and took a flight back home. It is a great place to unwind and relax after being on the road. It is a charming little lodge with rustic decor. It is the little thoughtful touches that make... More

We spent our last 2 nights in Namibia, after a fabulous road trip of nearly 3000km Eningu was perfect in every way. An hour or so south of Windhoek, ideal for the airport run, Eningu has so much to offer,a pool, roof terrace perfect for sundowners, walking trails and a waterhole, throw in great food a very friendly team and... What a surprise, and what a treat to stay at this Lodge. Bettina has created a dream location just 1 hour from the airport. Beautiful rooms, all spotless and with individual character. The artwork throughout the location is superb, and the meals are very tasty. They also have a very good wine list with good wines that are very reasonably... More

I wish we'd stayed longer than one night, this place was seriously lovely. After a long drive the cold towel and drink was most welcome, and the service remained great through our stay. The room was spacious (we were in the family room) and nicely decorated - the individual clay houses are beautiful. The swimming pool was cold, which was... More

Arrived here hot and more than a little dusty to be greeted with a delicious cold lemon and mint drink and cold flannels followed a short time later by coffee and cake which set the tone for our stay here. Our room was large and cool with lots of windows and plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was... More

Looking at the guest book, many of this fine establishment's guests only stay here overnight on their way to or from the airport. That is a shame because this is one of the best hotels/guesthouses I have stayed in for a long while. The thinking behind the series of adobe buildings, their execution and design must have been a work of love. They blend... More
