After a long drive from Siguiri it was nice to arrive and be welcomed at Olympe. Based on experience this is a better choice looking at overall safety and especially with the present situation. I felt safe and staff all-round were helpful and forthcoming. Room standard not 4 star but good enough. Had asked for airport shuttle ready for departure...

We stayed (2 females business travellers from Europe) at this hotel for three weeks in May 2016. If you liek the fncy western style hoels this is definitedly not the place to be. However, for safety reasons, you might wnat to avoid exactly these places in Bamako. Thsi hotel is a good choice. Safe, relatively clean (for western standards), and...

Mali is the third poorest country in the world, which puts a natural limit to what one can expect from a hotel - even with four stars in the capital Bamako. The Olympe International is a strange place - a blend of western, however forlorn luxury and a spooky kind of atmosphere cause by dim lighting and from the fact...

Some of Olympe's staff are extremely courteous and kind and they have some delicious African dishes in the nicely run restaurant. The pool is beautiful and the grounds are nice, but all of this can't make up for the terrible rooms and service. The management was incredibly rude to me as was one of the front desk staff. The rooms...

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel during my business trip to Bamako. The hotel, build in 2002 , is a badly managed and dirty hotel. (see picture of bathroom) The only positive things were the clean sheets and towels and a working WIFI connection. For the rest, no hot water, the airco wasn't able to cool the room, very...

The room was not clean, there was a weird smell through out my stay. the restaurant was bad, the breakfast buffet was 4000 FCFA which is really expensive for local standards but the choice was limited and not good. The pool was filthy and despite the heat, I was not at all tempted to go in.

Stayed for 5 days in Olympe International Hotel in Bamako and found it to be a clean and pleasant place. Staff were very nice to deal with and helpful. They do not speak English so it sure helps if you are competent in French or Bambara. My room was clean and all services worked well.

I stayed three days at Hotel Olympe and it was very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Try to learn a little Bambara and they will be very pleased with your efforts. The rooms are simple but clean. My first room didn't have water but when I notified the staff, they corrected the problem immediately by giving me...

Spent a few nights at the Olympe. The hotel was very clean but somewhat rundown. The room was clean and had Air Conditioning as well as a small tv with a few channels. My room did not have hot water, but others I talked to in the hotel all did, so must have just been a fluke. The restaurant has...
