The room was very old and not very clean (lots of mosquitos). I could ear the persons outside. Air conditioning very old. The wifi in the room was note very good. But the breakfast is ok and the service very good.

Great stay, the service was very good. Perfect hotel to stay in Bamako. Very good for business trip. Most of all the staff were very nice and always helpful for anything you would like. The transfer from and to airport is perfect

Many hotels in nWest africa have little glitches: water not coming, power gone, sockets not transferring power. In this hotel, all is however working well. Staff are fairly efficient. The bar is nice, the restaurant has ok food, although it is on the pricey side Heavy security presence, which should ensure the safety.

I've stayed at the Grand Hotel on several occasions. The rooms and the service correspond to a three-star hotel, do not expect more. If you want more go to Salam, Onomo or Radisson. But keep in mind the security. The luxury hotels were targeted by the terrorist. Also, I may admit that the hotel's security in Bamako has been increased...

Safe, clean, large rooms, friendly service, good availability of services, pay safely with credit card and the restaurant has recently been improved with a new chef. The internet connection is stable but could be faster.

Positives: The security was noticed where they search everyone who wants to go in professional like the airport custom search. The price after the company gave a good deal and went almost 50% off. They provided a private taxi for us and stayed with us and was reasonable price. Rooms are large and good view to the swimming pool. All...

This hotel has the nastiest food I've ever come across in all my travels. It's just plain, simple nasty! I couldn't believe it! I stayed here for 3 days and I was in a hurry to leave by the end of the first day. The hotel is not even worth a half star. Dirty mosquito nets hang over the beds....

The size of the rooms are really big and the place is very clean. My disappointment was the breakfast - it is obscenely expensive! £10 for a cup of tea and a croissant! In the end I went to the supermarket and brought nuts and dried fruit instead. Dinner is cheaper but not that great so best to eat elsewhere...

We held a conference here for 55 people. The meeting room was large enough, and there was an area outside the conference room with a serving bar and sink where we could prepare our coffee breaks. Bathrooms clean, though we had to remind them about TP. My room was humongous and very comfortable, with a sitting area with TV, and...

The rooms were large, clean, comfortable. Service was inconsistent. AC worked well. Swimming pool was good sized and clean. The carpets in hallways and lobby were dirty and worn. The main dishes were good. The salads were very small. The sandwiches were not good. Wifi worked from the rooms, could even Skype.

“Since I am not sure whether this place is also Azalai Grand or now has a separate name, it is quite important to figure that out upon booking. The main building is definitely more comfortable (but I assume also more expensive). If you are not planning to spend a lot of time in the room, go for the cheaper rooms and enjoy the services next door (restaurant etc).”
