You enter through fairly well secured entrance. I you happen to be one of those people that will afford a smile to the people that will protect you then you will have a very friendly welcome. Staff is very attentive and friendly. There's a warm and familiar atmosphere. Food is very good, not to pricey. Rooms are clean, tidy and... More

I will admit, I haven't been to Mali before. So, whereas, I have traveled around Western Africa, I don't have anything to compare this hotel to in country. However, I would love to stay here again. The room wasn't anything fancy, but that is typical in Western Africa. I did think it was spacious. The restaurant was good. However, it... More

Badala is one of the go to places for good food in Bamako. Perfectly located by the river, the hotel is hi in demand. Staff is very welcomming and professional. There is a good reason why expats usually fill up the restaurant.

This is a very nice little hotel with rooms in places you would not expect rooms to be! The staff are very friendly and able to help with your needs. Most are bilingual, which really helps if you do not speak French. There is a pool, but I never saw it used. The restaurant is good, but many mosquitoes by... More

I have been a regular customer of this hotel for more than 2 years now and during the last two months I have been dining there about 2 to 3 times per week (all times of the day). Inconsistent is the word that would best describe how I feel in general about the service and quality. Some days you have... More

The restaurant has recently acquired a new chef, very attentive to specific dietary requests. The basic menu has definitely improved with his arrival! The food is not terribly varied, and travelers who spend several weeks here will definitely grow tired of the menu if they only eat here. However, the trilogie de brochettes (fish, chicken, and beef) and the tagiatelle... More

This is one of the excellent restaurant in the subregion I've been in. Cost quality ratio is very good. "Filet de Boeuf" was outstandingly grilled and tasty. Desert was "tarte fine au pommes" prepared with some delay, but deserved the time spent in a nice ambiance with a view on the river. Highly recommended. Regards

This is 1 of the most charming hotels in Bamako. The view in the morning of the river is nothing short of magical. The food is fine too. However, there are a number of significant issues. I had a suite and my shower was broken. They replaced the shower head but it can not be used attached to the wall... More

Very nice Hotel with a restaurant directly at the river Niger. Room cost 49000 CFA which is a good prize. Restaurant is very good too and the prizes are also OK for what is offered. Rooms - depending if you are in the main house or the new one near the restaurant. Both are nice and well decorated. In main... More

We waited till 10.20 pm for the food to be served. After long wait it was served at 10.30 pm. I were disappointed for such long delay. When... More
