DO NOT STAY HERE! 1. No hot water on arrival and for 24 hours there after. 2. Toilet continuously blocked. No plunger available either. Had to use another rooms toilet, also blocked, obviously plumbing issues. 3. Public toilet in foyer covered in URINE, no toilet paper, disgusting. 4. Pool acid thrown in pool about to swim. 5. Food at hotel...

The room was good, only problem is the restaurant was not available on lunch time. I spent one week there. Dinner was nice, many choices. The beef slice was too hard, while others are good. The staffs there were very friendly and helpful.

Brand new. Very clean but not to the standard of a four star! The place is too calm. No animation. The bar and restaurant need improvement. A 4 star should be able to provide food at any moment. But you will be told the restaurant closes at 3.00pm or at 9.00 pm!

The only thing in this hotel that is great is the Malawian staff. Below is an account of what stinks (literally) about this hotel. This hotel, The Golden Peacock, is owned and operated by the Chinese with Malawian staff. I have a Deluxe Queen Room. Everything is “Made in China,” which equates to cheaply made furnishing and supplies complete –...

This was certainly not the best place to stay in but cannot be classified as very good, the rooms are adequate size, slippers and access to the roof top can be encouraging but we found the food offerings to be disappointing. There was a lot of confusion at check-in and more so at check-out, this seems to be a normal...

The hotel itself is very huge and the rooms are just perfect for any business traveler. The location is also okay and the stuff are very friendly. Its located in a quiet neighborhood which means sleep quality is perfect. Would come back to this place again!

Bedrooms are filthy. Curtains are so brown with dust. Chairs are stained. Food is disgusting. Breakfast consisted of 5 types of rice, boiled eggs, highly processed Vienna's. Only the toast was palatable. Coffee tastes like soapy dish water. No wifi as advertised . No toilet paper in the rooms. Aircon does not work. Over priced for what you are getting....

As a hotel located near the international conference centre and government headquarters, you would expect it to cater to business clients, especially seen the prices. But the internet is really the worst i have ever experienced anywhere, which was a serious problem for me. The rooms were quite nice apart from that though and up to standard.

It's ok, but nothing quite works. Wifi connection appalling, not enough hot water for a bath. "western" restaurant. Food less than average, staff poor. The Chinese restaurant is ok. All power sockets of Chinese type, so travel adapters don't fit!

This place may look pretty but it is far from the high quality hotel it claims to be. I stayed here for just under 2 weeks as a research student, before feeling the need to move to another hotel. I shared a double room with a friend. Location: Location is in the main city centre. However, not accessible to the...
