We stayed here for 1 night only but had an excellent time. The room was very large with a large terrace mini bar and tv. The menu at the restaurant was good and the food excellent. The hotel is in a quiet location in the middle level of Tana and offers a small buffet breakfast. Overall a great stay and... More

I've spent a week in this hotel end of April 2016. I had left my handbag in my room because I had been advised that it was not safe to go out with it at night in Tananarive. My money has been stolen in my room. And the hotel keeper has denied to believe me and done nothing to try... More

I stayed here for 4 months. Even though my colleague and I had a serious problem with the management due to our booking, we loved the hotel and felt like home. It is the best choice in town for mid to long-term stay and if you are looking for the opposite of a corporate hotel: amazing and very caring service,... More

The place is absolute special, very cosy and with a friendly staff. The food is very good and you really can relax and enjoy some days in Tana. If you say Madagascar you say Jonathan, our driver was really the BEST. I reccomend him and his team. We made about 2500 Km with him and was fabulous. You can contact... More

It does not matter if the hotel is nice or well located or if the food is good at the restaurant or any other aspect. My colleague and I were on a long term stay and without previous noticed they booked our room for new clients and we had to leave. Complete unacceptable. Extremely unprofessional. Absolutely incredible.

This was our first trip to Madagascar and we stayed at this hotel for our first night. The initial impression of the establishment was one of charm. One thing to be aware of is that there are quite a lot of stairs and that they are uneven so if you have a problem it would be wise to ask for... More

The rooms we had were clean and relatively comfortable. We liked the hotel even more after we had traveled around Madagascar for a couple weeks... Room 15 had a lovely porch and room 16 had 2 rooms and a kitchen. No bottled water was provided so you'll have to buy some. And the hotel provides free massages (but didn't inform... More

Just spent the night here so we could catch a flight out the next morning. Was very lovely. Old place so very charming with high ceilings and interesting architecture. The attached restaurant was very good. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, humorous and spoke good French or English. Hotel staff bent over backwards to accommodate. Fixed us a nice... More
