The team at Hokahanya Inn were helpful and professional with a late last minute booking. They were friendly and were able reassure us of a comfortable stay and warm room. It was very cold as mid winter and lots of hot water and a warm reception and room were so appreciated. Thanks to the hospitality team and Kick4Life.
The hotel is clean, has a great view by the balcony. The rooms are beautiful and big. The beds are equipped with electric blankets which can be very warm. The staff is very polite and friendly. The bathroom come with a shower, a bathtub or both but the showers are a little bit small. The food at No. 7 Restaurant is delicious and well prepared.
I stayed in march 2022 at Maseru K4L..i recieved a warm welcome by the front Desk lady called Motselisi.i enjoy the fresh brakefast at the restaurant no-7 .hoping to visit again to recive hospitality.
Kick4Life provides a comfortable, clean room and excellent food. We love it’s mission and were glad to support it by staying at the hotel. Admittedly, food service was slow but they were overwhelmed with guests. But the wait gave us a chance to check out the library started by the African Library Project.
I stayed for a week with my 7 year old daughter. The rooms are spacious with a bath and a shower and very well cleaned and tidied daily. Rooms include tea/coffee making. There is a very nice raised balcony with seating for 20 that is for the exclusive use of hotel guests from which you can enjoy the view of Maseru and of the activities going on on the football pitch. An excellent range of breakfast dishes for both of us was included in the price. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe part of Maseru surrounded by governmental buildings. All profits from the hotel are reinvested back into the charity. The winnnig feature is that you are surrounded by a buzz of the charity at work (football matches, coaching sessions, delegates having conferences) and therefore very interesting and friendly people. One tip is that for a quick ZAR40 taxi ride you can go to the Avani Maseru hotel (not the old Lesotho Sun hotel nearby up the hill) where for ZAR50 per person, you can spend time at their excellent adult and child friendly swimming pool. You also have the luxury of having the amazing No.7 restaurant on site open from 8am-10pm everyday (closed Sunday after lunch) which is where you have your breakfast.…
Highly satisfactory experience in quiet and rather green surroundings. Friendly and attentive staff. Food is of very quality and goes beyond the usual fare that you can find in Lesotho - even though it tends to be too salty for my taste. Watching the kids playing on the football pitch is definitely a bonus; and most importantly, your money will go to a good cause.
Great spot in Maseru. Eat delicious food while watching the soccer players (and lovely sunset). Hotel rooms are clean and roomy. Lovely place, friendly staff, and great location - probably one of the best value you can get in Maseru. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Maseru.
Given that it's a charity and social enterprise, there is really nothing to complain about. Its a nice place to rest and you can sit outside and enjoy your meals and stay. I had a great evening and rest.
Highly recommend this hotel, the staff are super and the accommodation was fantastic!! I had booked this for many delegates who returned their feedback to me as 'a very accommodating and clean hotel with scrumptious meals' - Thank you Kick4Life for all your help with taking care of our delegates.
This was a fantastic place to stay. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and fantastic food in the restaurant. Room was large with TV and even a bath! Was also great fun watching the football and learning about the other support being offered in the local communities - wish I could have stayed longer!!
