AVANI please keep it up a good work, when it comes to hospitality you are number ONE. Cleaness, food, fresh air and welcoming atmosphere and I felt blessed to be at AVANI. Cannot wait for summer as I prefer swimming so much.

The staff are amazing! Very friendly and helpful! Hotel building needs some work and upgrading, but overall had a great stay! Our family felt at home while staying in the hotel, and the staff were very patient with four small and very busy children.

Let's face it, there aren't may hotel or guest house options in Maseru so this hotel is probably streets ahead of the rest. However, it would not stand up to competition elsewhere. The facilities are tired and one gets a sense that maintenance is done on a needs basis. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfy, but it... More

My sincere thank you to the staff, from the gentleman and lady at the door that give you a very warm greeting..... The ladies at the buffet breakfast stations, the chef whom by the way is simply amazing!!!!! But my heart felt warmth of gratitude to the guest relations manager!!!!! I had a very sudden emergency, and she smiled and... More

I like Avani over other hotels in Lesotho. A tad bit expensive but generally ok. I would stay there again. I would like to see this hotel make their Resturant a highlight. Most of my eating was outside of the hotel and would have liked an idea of some some good in room dining

Beautiful Scenery, Excellent Service With Very Interpersonal Staff That Go Beyond Their Means To Make You Feel Welcome. Loved The Food And The Great Things To Do While There, Like Playing Chess And Swimming. Rooms Were Very Neat, They Truly Pay Attention To Detail.

Horrrrable experience at avani Maseru and again Lesotho though at avani Lesotho it was not too bad. At avani Maseru my bag was searched by security guards who took back teas and sugar and toilet paper collected from my room throughout the stay sitting that's stealing hotel property

A good hotel to jazz. But not hip-hop etc. Good views of the Caledon river. Intimate venue for all things mature and classical. Hotel certainly does not feel or look more than 40yrs old ( young). Many people have fond memories.

I liked the location close to government entities. The breakfast is OK and diner buffet as well. Even the draft Maloti beer I can reco0mmend to try. Do not forget your access code for free internet or you may have to wait one day Hotel furniture (bathroom and carpet) is what outdated and renovation should be done.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights in a room on the 4th floor (429). The hotel struggles in its management, the consequence of which echoes throughout the hotel but remember this is Lesotho not South Africa. The TV didn't work, the hotel's only iron was unavailable as a previous resident had broken it and it hadn't been replaced,... More
