This is most likely one of the best hotels in Bissau as the service is good even by european standards. The standard rooms are decent, spacious and clean. The wifi in the room however was really bad so to get decent network commection I had to sit in the lobby. The TV was small and only offered one english speaking... More

The hotel is OK. The rooms are very simple, but TV works good with variety of channels, there is always a hot water in the bathroom. All is clean. At night be aware of mosquitos! Restaurant offers tasty meals for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is rather limited. The staff is very friendly and you can always ask for more coffee... More

The hotel is well situated close to amenities. There is a small spaza shop across the road where you can buy airtime, milk, coffee, batteries - almost all sorts of goodies you may need. Local taxi's are available right outside the gate of the hotel. I stayed there for two weeks and it was really pleasant. They have a lovely... More

I happened to stay in this hotel for 5 days in November 2015 on a business trip and it was supposed to be a group booking. It was not so impressive to separate the charges for the rooms from the breakfast, but you will realize that although it was bed and breakfast, payment for each is done separately. Although there... It's a nice hotel, all in all. Its best feature is the staff, who is kind and helpful and speaks several languages. But having tried several hotels in Bissau, I can say that it's not the best value for money. The standard room is way to expensive for what you get. The shower is outdated and doesn't function too well.... More

Given the challenges of Bissau, this hold manages to do quite well. The rooms are dated, but large and clean (with some updates), there is a nice pool, and some of the food items are tasty. It is also a safe place, with constant electricity. Staff are very friendly, if not always completely competent. The price is also very fair.... More

The good thing is that this hotel is a large, secure compound of rooms and suites. The rooms are basic but comfortable. No mosquito net provided or hairdryer. Really good a/c and a mini-bar in the room. The internet was very patchy and kept dropping out. My bathroom seemed to have been partially refurbished recently, with a new Grohe shower.... More

“All the rooms in the gardens are individual small lodges with their own sitting room, bathroom and bedroom. The aircon worked well for us;. There are no places of interest near to hand without using transport. This is a very poor part of the world - one of the poorest. The hotel is adequate but not of European 4 star standards. However, coming out of the heat it's an oasis. The breakfast was good and staff attentive. But I stress this is based on local standards not top European ones. The people are friendly and helpful.”
