The website of the hotel gives the impression of large comfortable rooms. This is not the case. They are very small and some of them do not have windows (which is not stated in any way on the website). We did not try the swimming pool as it did not seem attractive; it is located in the font of the hotel at the car park. Breakfast was very basic. Location is off the beaten tracks. Luckily the Adehye Restaurant is nearby (as the only doning option with walking distance). The shuttle service from the airport functioned very well and is free.
My Fiance and I loved this hotel soooo much. Service: The guest services were wondering. Everyone treated us like family. From the front desk to dining hall, everyone was wonderfully nice. Area: We took walks nearly every night we stayed here because the areas is so nice. We look forward to returning.
Eastgate is not the most expensive hotel in town, but cost does not always guarantee quality, here you get five-star service for less. There is a pool with a bar, restaurant cooking your favorite food at your taste, and concierge services other places should envy. I was glad to see all rooms full, signaling that brand recognition and demand are strong. Always clean and well maintained, close to the Airport and Mall, here you get all you need.
Nice hotel. I stayed with my two kids in a family room for a weekend away from home. All amenities worked. Nice flowing hot water. Internet worked fine. If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel in a safe environment then it is a choice to consider. For the price you get complimentary breakfast (simple but varies each day), airport transfers and bottle(s) of water (first day only). The friendliness and warm reception of the staff overcompensated for the old decor. For a small hotel, I was impressed by their small but wide enough pool. The food from the restaurant was also tasty.
Clean sheets and towels, clean floors, clean bathroom. A little snafu upon checking in-- there was no soap, bath mat or hand towel, and the house phone did not work. But the staff corrected all this cheerfully within a half hour. Breakfast very good, and the breakfast staff called our room to advise us that breakfast was ready!.(This has never happened in any other hotel I have stayed in, on several continents!) The only reason I do not give 5 stars is that all the photos of the rooms on the internet clearly showed a lamp by the bedside. Our room had no lamp, and no place to plug one in, and no place to put one; which is clearly why there is no lamp. However, I selected this hotel because of the reading lamp by the bed! I would stay here again, though, because the room service for lunch and dinner was fast, the food was good, the room service fee was very reasonable, and the staff were pleasant and efficient. There is a nice pool and poolside bar, which we were too busy to use. Maybe next time.…
