I booked this hotel looking its pictures thinking that it would be a nice hotel along the seashore (not beach!). Despite the reviews from guests scoring its on average.
The hotel is located on main road and if you got a room along side road you need to make sure that you carry earplugs to avoid traffic noise during the night. Food and service is also not so great.
Unless and until you love Chinese food or Chinese prepared African food it is not preferred to stay at this hotel.

The hotel is OK in everything. Check in was fine and check out was not too painful. The rooms are large but the furniture and carpet are just cheap and tacky. The breakfast is not great but not bad either. The restaurant's food is also OK. Overall, the hotel is fair in price and service especially given the fact that Libreville is overly expensive. I cannot recommend the hotel but I cannot fault it either.

I am staying here right now with my friend. We ordered for food. No service for one hour. Finally, we make some noise and suddenly it is brought-but cold. Meaning it was made and left forgotten. The 3 or 4 Chinese women there could have been a flower on the wall paper-they just kept walking around. Not one turned to look at us or apologize, despite us making loud complaints. We did not eat, signed the bill and left. Still not one apologized, except the poor Gabonese waiter. I guess Chinese staff only relate to Chinese guests. Or they look down at all others. We had to take a cab to go eat elsewhere Don't know how we will spend 3 more nights here. Please avoid this hotel like the plague. You will be treated like crap.

On the main road, nice hotel, good breakfast. Did not try for Dinner or Lunch. The restaurant is almost floating on the sea. Furniture quality needs improvement. Reception staff was nice to give me 2 hours extension for check out.

the most of staff are chinese, they often do not speak neither english, nor french, it is a real pain in some cases. but in general these chinese guys and girls seem to be friendly.
however... I have made some photos, see below. 1. insects in my bed, very small and they do not bite, but anyway. I think some of them penetrated my laptop and found their death there. these insects are everywhere. 2. dirty towels, really difficult to keep it clean? 3. very dirty beach near the hotel and very dangerous descent to the ocean, can easily break legs. Yes, I could use a swimming pool, but why? I have come to the Atlantic ocean and I do not want to swim in a pool...
food is ok, not very good, but not bad, I liked it.

Chinese staff, Chinese food (very good one though), Chinese TV channels available... everything is Chinese besides the very welcoming Gabonese staff at the counter. The hotel is decent. First room had AC malfunction but they gave ma a new one strait away. I enjoyed my stay there for a reasonable price. The only thing that really annoyed me was that there is NO gym whatsoever. Apparently, it is being refurbished, and it has been the case for several months now...
