Nice guesthouse in a nice location on Bole Road. The rooms are pretty good(we were in 2 on different occasions), with huge bed and warm shower when there isn't power shortage on the whole area. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was decent, although not great. Being on Bole Road, there's a lot of convenience nearby, like a couple of shopping malls where you can find anything, from LAN houses to childrens' hairstyling. It's near the airport (U$10 for the transfer in Dec/2017). From the Road you can get a taxi (as they call the minibuses) straight to Piazza and, from there, to anywhere you want. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in Addis, but overall it was a pretty good stay.

My 15-day stay at Weygoss Guest House was okay. The staff were generally nice except for one front desk woman who was not friendly. They have daily breakfast that consist of pan cake, omelet, bread, butter, jams, fruits, and the famous Ethiopian Arabica coffee. It is located close to Bole Road, which used to be a safe place but now, additional caution should be observed while walking alone. There are some pickpockets nowadays in the street. There is hot water in the en-suite bathroom. Good WiFi connection. It has common kitchen and available to those who want to cook. There is a cafeteria that is 3 minutes walking distance where I always take my lunch while the Showa supermarket is about 10 minutes walking distance. It is 10 minutes driving away from the international airport.

Well, what can I say about this place. It's always going to remain in our hearts and minds because this was where we stayed when we adopted our 5 month old daughter. First time we stayed almost two weeks and then the second time just over a week. The staff were so accommodating towards all our needs and made our whole stay delightful. Traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremonies each day really made it a special place. Yeah we did have a few minor issues like our toilet not installed right and flooding our apartment and the neighbours, but the way the staff handled it was top notch. Internet was also very iffy at times especially when thunderstorms come over but no fault of the hotel. Plenty of restaurants around, just DON'T drink the water! Very cheap for the value you get.

I stayed in the Guesthouse for 3 weeks and the place was ok for the price. - The shower was not the cleanest with some mold but not the end of the world. The hot water was almost always available (I think I had one morning when the water and the pressure were so low that no water was coming out of the shower). - The electricity supply is continuous so that was a big positive moment. - The single standard rooms are quite small with not much for a window, so it can get quite cold at night and dark during the day. But again, not the end of the day. - The internet was quite ok (when it worked) - there were maybe 2-3 days out of a week when the internet didn't work at all. - The staff are very friendly and if they speak English (some do at a very good level) are very helpful. - You can order food for dinner from a nearby restaurant and the reception will order for you. - The breakfast is very limited - coffee is decent though. - Taxi services can be ordered at reception including airport transfer for 10 USD - The place is very flexible towards special needs and requests. Overall good value for money.

Very Basic Hotel - Kitchenette available on Deluxe rooms - very worst breakfast ( only bread & eggs ) - no choice for Vegetarian except Oats meal - The hotel location is off-the Bole road which is very difficult to find even for the residents of Addis Ababa. If you plan for any official meeting in the Guest House you may find much difficult to explain the location of Guest House -
