I was there last Saturday with friends to have lunch on the first floor restaurant, we wanted to have fasting buffet well they said they have and we took a table and check their buffet but there is literally nothing good to eat they have alecha shero only and the other was gomen, salad broccoli and macaroni and the enjera was not good the taste and the look was not good. Really! only that in a four star hotel i really dont expect this from jupitor hotel. They have this group of ladies from west africa sport club i guess chatting loudely in the restaurant. The waitress was a pregnant lady very humble she tried her best to make us happy but we couldnt be happy with that kind of food but we didnt say any thing to her because i dont think we will ever go back to jupitor again.

I quarantined for a week in the hotel and found it to be well run and well organized. The dining room, gym and lounge are all acceptable, the hotel is partnered with the Hadero coffee chain (=great coffee), there is jazz every Thursday evening, and the staff members were always friendly, polite and attentive. They also took pandemic precautions seriously. Although we were not always able to communicate, they always tried to find an effective workaround. The Jupiter offers one of the best combinations of price and quality in the city, and I plan to stay again when I return to Addis. You should too.

The hotel is located in the central, safe area. Security guards are always outside, and your bag always needs to pass their security check, which is assuring. Unfortunately, I saw roaches in the room I was initially allocated. I first saw it (they were relatively small; perhaps a local version of it) on my second day, and I had to borrow an insect killer. I further saw two more (which I killed) on my fourth day. When I complained this to the receptionist, she was frowned to hear about my insect problems, but did not look surprised. The cleaning manager told me that he will vacuum and then perfume the whole room. I am sure he did it, but unfortunately, another one (this was looked more like a bed bug) appeared, so I asked for a room change. The reception agreed, and I got another room. I stayed in this room over the next 10 days without problems (occasionally flies entered, but that was it). In hindsight, my initial room was directly two floors above their restaurant/kitchen, so perhaps these insects came to my initial room through drains.  Other than that, it was an ok stay though wifi could be very patchy sometimes. Also, cleaning ladies often failed to change my used cups, and placed them again in my room as if they were new. Breakfast was always good, while some dinner menus were better than others (but you can also try Radisson Blu's restaurant too; it's literally next door; their food is more expensive but very good; and their wifi was far better) Overall, if you have sufficient money to stay at Hilton or Radisson Blu, no need to stay here. Otherwise, I would still consider this place as an option.

I have stayed at Jupiter Cazanchis multiple times and I have always been very satisfied with the service and excellent customer care here. The hotel is pretty well located to a variety of restaurants, spas, and tourist locations. Shuttle services to and from the airport also make it very easy to navigate the capital if you are going there for the first time!

We stayed two nights at this hotel, on arrival in Addis. For tourists, there is nothing special about the location. We did walk around the neighbourhood a couple of times, which was mildly interesting. I characterize the hotel as being a tired 3 stars, by North American standards, with very slow elevator service. However, the room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant was fine., and service attentive, throughout the hotel. Until about 10 pm, there was loud music playing from somewhere nearby on the street and this was annoying, given that our room was on the front side. On the last day of our three week trip, we took a room at the sister Jupiter hotel-Bole, 5 minutes from the airport, and I would rate that facility as being much nicer, all round. I rate this hotel as being a 4 out of 5, but only on the basis of it being a 3 star hotel in North America. The staff go a long way toward compensating for a tired facility.
