Clean, nice details, loved the peacefulness with the garden. The standard rooms are small but with a nice interior. Good standard bathroom. The breakfast was just if I was staying at one of my family member's house and thus it gave me a very comfortable. Good internet in the restaurant area. Includes pick-up and drop-off at the airport. Perfect if you can't stay with your family when visiting but don't want the coldness of a hotel.

This is a small lodge in the suburbs but it is friendly, well run, the rooms are comfortable and the food is fresh, tasty and well prepared. A cold beer in the small leafy courtyard is a nice way to unwind. There are comfortable lounge and reading areas. It is not a place you can just go out for a walk but a good retreat after days of sightseeing. It is close to the airport which is a bonus for early flights.

Spent four nights here on three separate occasions whilst journeying in Ethiopia. The place was most welcoming; feeling like I was returning to a home base on my second and third stays. The atmosphere of the Lodge was excellent - quiet and attractive. Whilst not in a wonderful environment, behind the walls surrounding the Lodge one felt safe. I stayed in two different rooms, both were extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was super and the shower always hot. The staff were most accommodating, even allowing me to leave goods until my last visit, nothing seemed a problem. Had a number of meals here including breakfast and dinner - loved the smoothies and fruit salad in particular. Only issue was the Wi Fi which was not always reliable and not available in the rooms

Room Tip: Think the bigger rooms are more desirable. I had a small room on two occasions and it was tight...

A lovely, cool, leafy spot in Addis with spacious well furnished rooms. Has a traditional feel in a slightly Japanese-like surroundings. Calm, and not much aircraft noise despite only being a few minutes drive from the airport. Friendly and helpful staff, and as it's a small place you get very personal service.

Room Tip: the 'suite' facing the terrace is nice, but rather public.

This place is great. The showers are warm, the breakfast is great, and the beds are comfortable. It’s a short drive from the airport, so it’s centrally locates, but isn’t loud at night. Traveling and staying in Ethiopia, the accommodations can be hit or miss. Often times you get a small cement compound with stark rooms and questionable plumbing. My wife discovered it on one her previous trips to Ethiopia. It feels like a hidden gem. The gated courtyard also serves as their dining area. It’s relaxing, shaded with trees and well decorated. The breakfast is great. My kids loved the pancakes and French toast. The firfir was a hit as well. If you don’t want to stay at one of the large hotels this is a great option.
