Breakfast is just a joke! overpriced and horrible! very dirty table lines in the restaurant. Food served is tiny and inedible. Poor customer service and it seems everyone is disappointed. The room service is unprofessional. staff lack professionalism. There is a need for training of the staff.
We stayed two nights and loved it. We loved the bed. We would definitely stay here again, it is close to the airport. The dinner was excellent and so were the breakfasts. The area around the hotel is good for walking and shopping. We also found a nice restaurant across the street from the hotel that was good for lunch, I had to tuna pizza and it is good.
I visited this hotel in February, my first time to Addis Ababa as part of a tour. I was impressed, the hotel is close to the airport in a reasonable location not too far from the city centre. My room was very pleasant, and it had good views over the city, the food in the hotel was impressive also. All in all I would recommend this hotel for anyone who has just arrived in the country, very good.
Nice place and good people. The food is also nice .The envrionments is very clean with very good security. The intertainment part was also excellent with very nice TV and fast Internet. The rooms generally are nice.A place to stay when in Addis Ababa
The location of the hotel is good, the surrounding area pleasant enough to walk around and hassle free. There is an excellent bar across from this hotel (called MLK jnr.) The hotel is clean and tidy. The pool was great. The staff in the hotel all very friendly and helpful, although I had a taxi arranged and it was very expensive (a metered one was organised from a different hotel and it was around a quarter of the price.) Now the bad, I had breakfast here everyday a simple buffet lots of Ethiopian food, I settled on bread and a omelet most days, I thought the breakfast was free only very last day I’m told it was not free and I had to pay 4000 ETB (£100) I questioned this with the front desk reception and it was lowered to 3000 ETB (£75) this was because my wife had skipped breakfast a few days. £75 for eight breakfasts, it was not worth that and if I had been informed earlier I wouldn’t of had a breakfast here! …
