I stayed in this hotel with my children over the new year of 2021. My children stayed here longer than I so I only experienced just one night. The hotel is as pricy as Hilton gets but you receive the services for it. My children enjoyed the new year eve party by the poolside organized by the hotel and they enjoyed it. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast is also very nice with a good variety to choose from. Their measures to protect their clients during this pandemic is commendable. Their is a small supermarket, the Novice, just next door and one can buy the small snacks they need. They also have tennis courts which i would love to try on a next visit! And when you join the "Hilton honors club" you get to enjoy free wifi...
On my second trip to Ethiopia, i was blessed with a fantastic flight with Air Ethiopia. Towards the end of my extended trip, I stayed at the Hilton Hotel, Addis Ababa. What’s striking about the Hilton ‘experience’ is that each staff member is so well informed, warm and helpful, you feel like you’re part of their family & ultimately feel literally like you’re ‘at home’ in their hotel. The Hilton staff take hospitality and care to a completely different level to many other hotels which I’ve stayed at. Their consideration for their guests is wholeheartedly genuine and clearly conveys the investment which Hilton Hotels have made to their core ingredient, their staff. You can’t fake that many staff acting like that 24hrs a day. It’s how they really are and was, for me, a beautiful reflection on Ethiopian culture. At the end of each working day, it was an absolute pleasure returning to the positive personalities at the security checks or in the reception and waiting to see the array of incredible food and wine in their restaurants. My room had the most incredible views across the capital and returning to an immaculately cleaned room each evening was fantastic. Bearing in mind, this was during the Covid chaos and it identified the Hilton Hotel’s commitment to safety, security and welfare of each of their guests and also to each staff member. Their professionalism was inspiring. I cannot wait to return to this wonderful traveller’s oasis and look forward to the warm reception from their team. If you travel to Ethiopia, book the Hilton into your itinerary, you won’t be disappointed. Chris CEO…
Traveled during the COVID 19 pandemic with some friends to celebrate a landmark birthday. There were great strides taken to allow for sanitization and social distancing. In the midst, they provided great service. I especially want to thank Hibist for her excellent customer service. The new bowls that the chef added to the menu are EXCELLENT, and he did a wonderful job making the food safe and delicious.
Stayed here for 1 night with the family for New Year's Eve. The front desk and customer service staff were amazing. Seifedin B and Hibist M were especially helpful in making sure the stay went well. The suite was excellent and the facilities were great. The pool was so warm and the tennis courts were fun! They had an excellent NYE dinner and the GM Claus S. made sure things were flowing smoothly. The new South African chef is great too. Would definitely stay here again.
When I am in Addis, I do not need to go out because I have everything in this hotel: special attention, good food, security, acceptable internet connectivity, well maintain sport facilities and plenty of green areas.
