Stayed here for 2 nights. Service was pretty good and breakfast spread was good as well. The room was decent in size and clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a well rested 2 nights' stay here. Value for money.
Over all a decent hotel, with spacious room, very comfortable bed and bedding. I have all my food from room service, and I was quiet happy with the food quality and service. I must say that most of the staffs very friendly and helpfully and caring. Something to improve. Internet is very slow and not consistent TV channels selection very limited and small size Amenities are very limited in bath
Clean, comfortable room and reasonable breakfast buffet. Free shuttle service from/to Airport in 10 min. Good service with a smile once you give them a tip. Great coffee shop, ice-cream shop and grocery store in a few minutes walk.
The phrase “to fall from a grace” comes to mind to describe the current state and condition of this hotel. This is my second time in two years to stay in this hotel and I was not only shocked but saddened to learn and experience that how once a great hotel with an excellent customer service and friendly staff reduced to this level of mismanagement and appalling state. Two years ago, I stayed in this hotel with my wife and two children and the hotel staff from guards to busboys, from desk staff to cleaners were very friendly, accommodating and above all got out of their way to make our experience enjoyable and memorable. This time around, my three weeks of nightmare started on the day I arrived in the hotel and the hotel desk staff told me a different check-in and checkout date than I planned for, although I have copies of my email communication that clearly states my check in as well as check out dates. I was told to change rooms ( in a different floor)twice in three weeks, with only ten minutes notifications, as they had planned to change corridor carpets and failed to notify me in advance. In one occasion, I was told to change a room at 10:00pm, when I arrived in the hotel from my outings. I was told that I was lucky that they didn’t ask me to move to another hotel as it is a common practice in this hotel to move guests from one hotel to another because of overbooking or overstays. If you think, your consent is required to do this, you are kidding yourself. The concept of customers first and creating customer experiences are foreign terms and have no meaning in this hotel as well as in most establishments in the city. The kindness and professionalism of staff who work in the breakfast service area made my three weeks nightmare bearable otherwise I could have left the hotel in my first night. I think the hotel management failed to understand that their customer service desk staff were the face of the hotel and their unprofessionalism, poor level of skill to deal with guests and general lack of enthusiasm and interest to their work put customers off on the first encounter. I have never seen an incompetent, not personable, unwelcoming and poorly equipped customer desk staff like this hotel in my life and speaks volume about how hotel ratings and standards mean nothing in the whole country. I will never, ever set a foot in this hotel again.…
While Addis itself is nothing special this place itself was quite OK. Well appointed modern rooms, great bathroom, good WiFi, decent food, helpful and accomodating housekeeping. Generally good service though the front desk was rather surly. While I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again, it was OK.
