This is an older hotel which has had some refurbishment. The rooms facing the city are larger with a balcony. The rooms facing the mountain have a tiny bathroom - for example the bathroom door cannot fully open. The breakfast options were good and included made to order omelettes. Service was always friendly and prompt and the concierge was helpful....

Far from city center in the Mont febe mountain the hotel has an amazing view of Yaounde but unfortunately its kind of old and needs maintenance. Service is slow and the staff needs training. To me its a 3 stars according to US or EU standards. But for Yaounde its the place to be if you are visiting for business...

The hotel is in a great location overlooking the golf course and the town of Yaoundé. There is a fitness track nearby The Hotel has an outdoor pool and tennis courts. The rooms are in the process of being redone but this is only partially complete. The hotel was opened in 1969 and needs a major revamp. The bar is...

Ex Govt Hotel, and looks like it., Rooms average and serviceable but EU / US Standard. dodgy night club, lots of young well dressed ladies with older business men, you draw your own conclusions! Excellent location on the Hill, fantastic views, wheelchair accessible, great staff and food and dining - mimics fine dining but food quality falls short. Brilliant country...

It is a bit dated. Rooms are not very clean or modern. Both the water from the sink and the shower did not drain properly. Therefore, I was faced with flooding early in the morning . It is safe and staff try to be nice.

Interesting as a museum piece but not really a place to hang your hat after a long trip. It does have it's charm, nice view and willing staff. There's probably a lot of things regarding gas, electrics and plumbing I don't want to know about. In any case if in Yaounde for a while mix it up and spend a...

The property is quite aged and has seen better times, nevertheless the staff were friendly and courteous, and should to be given credit for their effort to make the stay of the clients as comfortable as possible. The housekeeping staff were very friendly, and deserve acknowledgement.

I stayed here for just two nights and had a very good stay. Last time I was in Yaoundé I stayed at Hotel Merina but I definitely prefer Mont Febe. Staff are very friendly and service oriented. The receptionist let me stay an extra 4 hours after check out because my flight left late in the evening. Pick-up at the...

Given local market conditions and price/quality ratio this hotel is ok, although you wouldn't be able to sell such rooms for this price in for example Holland. My room, which had not sufficient light in the evening (only 2 lampshades), had a nice view on Yaounde's Golf court. For lunch there was only one option, a buffet at the pool....
