I stayed here for four nights while on a business trip. My company set me up here, and I am glad that they did. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and very large. I didn't spend much time in my room, but the time i did spend was relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the loft area where the bed was located was spacious. The upper deck area of the hotel is where the pool and restaurant were located. This was a nice place to relax in the sun, see some incredible views, and get something to eat. Breakfast is served here, and although it is basic, you can get an omelette with your fresh fruit every morning. The lunch and dinner menu is an interesting mix of dished to include a selection of Indian entrees. I ate there twice and the meals were both good. The owners appear to be expanding the property, there is work going on constantly. It never interfered with my work or relaxation. the only thing that was missing or me was a gym. Since this technically a bed and breakfast you would not expect one, but it would have been nice. The pool was a nice surprise, and it was relaxing to sit on the deck and read a book. I would glad stay here again.

The hotel is lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the garden terrace restaurant has great food and a fabulous view over the lake to watch the sun setting. The location is a little out of town, but not a big problem.

This is a two story hotel room with the bed and master bath upstairs in a loft. There are no elevators so prepare to carry your suitcases up some stairs. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave and hot water kettle. They did not include a bottle opener for the beers/sodas in the refrigerator. They have a nice restaurant on roof. You have to leave your key with the front desk if you want to have your room cleaned. There is music playing in the hallways which was annoying at times because I could hear it in the room. Staff are friendly. They let me check out late without extra charges. Wifi worked fine.

I visit Bujumbura on a monthly basis for work, and on many of those occasions I've stayed at Kiriri Garden Hotel. It is by far the most modern hotel in Bujumbura with great ambiance and amenities. The rooms are unique with the bed and ensuite on a loft overlooking the sitting room with kitchenette. Note this if you have an issue with steps... The bar and restaurant, located on the rooftop, offer a beautiful view of the city as well as Lake Tanganyika.

Great view of the city from this chic hotel. Probably the best kept secret in Bujumbura. If you are on business or vacation this is a great spot indeed. Spacious rooms, very reasonably priced and a fabulous rooftop garden with a lake view of the city.
